**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

Those of you that working some on your settlements, would it be advised to invest in Charisma, presently I onoly have 3 points there and go for 3 more so Local Leader can be picked ??

Nope but then I'm rarely at Sanctuary. I might just give her **** stuff and assign her to a crap mundane task at the edge of camp...

That's not a bad shout. Or create a camp with loads of food and no defenses so it gets attacked lots, then stick her as the sole occupant.

Kinda like the Siberian Front for moaning NPCs.

People playing this with mouse/keyboard mostly or anyone useing a controller and if so is it ok.

Playing with the Xbox 360 controller. Works perfect IMO. Find these types of games hard on a mouse and keyboard to be honest.

IMO if your going to be building up a lot of your settlements it makes life a lot easier. Get supply lines set up and every location can share all your resources. No need to always go back and forth between locations all the time. I know I would not have been asked without the perk to build settlements at every location.

The second level also is a nice bonus to build happiness and extra stores for those extras workers to make more caps. Also generates passive income at the workbench.

I'm currently working on getting all my emporiums with level 4 unique traders. Only got the vault tec rep(general emporium) and some woman(clothes emporium) so far. Rest seem to be random encounters. :(

What are people doing with Power Armour? Are you using it only for tough missions or all the time? I hate feeling like I'm in a vehicle and how the character looks and sounds in conversations, but the damage protection is so tempting...

Build I've gone I'm in it pretty much 100% of the time unless I'm in a town, it'd be nice if the helmet hid whilst talking to someone though.

There'll probably be a mod. I like playing stealthy so it's probably best I ditch it for a while. I've been playing for 40+ hours and I'm only like level 21 or something. Earning XP in this game is very slow...

Mixture really. If I feel like going to wipe out some very tough spots, then I put it on. Or if I am using heavy weapons, looks pretty badass with a Gatling laser spitting lasers in power armour :D

My build at least initially was standing my ground and tanking damage with massive health and endurance while dishing out a ton of pain so it works well.

At level 104 now so the extra intelligence the power armour also offers with some attachments is a nice way to keep the XP rolling in that bit more. + I horde materials so the extra carrying capacity is nice.

I haven't used the power armour at all. I wish I could find a happy medium between the power armour and the combat armour as I do tend to get one shotted a fair bit on hard, but cba messing about with the power armour.

I like crafting it just not wearing it. Wish they'd just stuck with the F3 style PA.

No idea how people are getting to level 60+, I did all areas and most faction quests on my first char and ran out of places to go at level 56ish.

104  how many hours you done and main missions?

Only done 5 of the main missions, Been running around like a nutter most the time exploring everything and settlement building. Admitedly at one stage spent time seeing how much power armour I could amass. Now at 65 full suits :D

Just a bit above 160 hours according to steam

Load up on Mentats, Companion XP bonus and high intelligence with intelligence quipped armour and you can boost intelligence to 14 /15 + 15% extra XP and you can get XP really quick. There are some areas which spawn 9-10 very high level enemies that I always go try new guns out on. usually nets me 800-1000 + XP killing them all with about 4 locations like that.

I never really touched meds at all except for stimpack and radaway.

My new char is melee build so I'll be hitting the meds pretty hard, but a lot of the meds lower int so it's actually going to hurt my exp gain even more!

"Tomorrows driver will include an SLI profile for Fallout 4.”

Just downloading the new drivers now. Release highlights or notes have no mention of SLI support for FO4. Just the R6S and JC3 notes.

Sadly not got my second TX to test, hopefully someone else can :)
