**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

You are right, ammo weights nothing, neither does mines or grenades, which is a good thing because I don't use mines/grenades that much so have loads of them so glad they weightless. :p

Nah grenades definitely have weight. Frags weigh 0.5 and some of the special signal flare grenades are 1.

Ops, my bad. :o They do weight 0.5 each. Forgot I had a mod that removed their weight since I do find them annoying to go through all the time since I barely use them. :o

But Ammo is weightless though. :p

So is there any way, via console or otherwise, to check what your current relationship level is with a companion?

open console
click on companion
type "getav CA_affinity"
ranges from 0-1000
events are usually triggered every 250 according to the wiki

After hundreds of hours in FO3, and 30 or so in FO4, I only just realised that mirelurks have a soft squishy part on their face that readily explodes in a single shot or so....

So do Death Claws if you get enough DPS in their bellies. It's a little OTT though IMO

Game has stuck for me now, and not surprisingly, at the root of the problem is the dialogue. A character has just randomly started talking to me and I am unable to answer them, or do anything because I have been forced in to conversation mode. I can't use my pipboy and no matter how far away I go it doesn't change anything.

Still finding Strong to be my favourite companion. Usually arm him with a pipe rifle and plenty of ammo, but if I know I'm heading into an area with loads of enemies he gets a minigun. Made the mistake of handing him a missile launcher....

I have found if you move the mouse to the end of the screen you will start to turn and will turn away from them. This allows you to walk away from that character and then walk back to them which gives you the proper dialogue options.

Currently at level 63 and I believe have been to nearly every map location. Think I've got 2 left in the city to do. Haven't found any aliens yet, so maybe I've missed something.

Majored on rifle skills and sneak for combat, which results in massive single shot damage. Seems to be rather effective. Have found the assault rifle to be my best weapon as it has VERY low recoil, good damage and a high ROF for a single shot weapon. Can also mount a suppressor for use with mister sandman perk.

Have you tried this?..............

Soooooooo thanks for all the pointers and suggestions from all re my terminal issue.

I have resolved it now whilst keeping my GFX set to SLi 144Hz and FOV 110..

Used nvinspector to cap the frame rate to 60. Might try a higher setting at some point but doubt I will notice any difference.

Glad I can actually get on and play the game now!

I'm glad it worked. At the very least, it should reduce the amount of times it happens quite considerably. :)

Need help at the Castle!

I'm supposed to build an artillery at the castle, so I follow the quest point to the workbench, make one, and place it. But the quest marker is still there and that lady still whines I need to make one
