Try living in Scotland, people in my town still try to feed helicopters by throwing bread at them.

Didn’t realise it was double xp this weekend, missed most of it.

Not been to perth in years, I used to go to the pool that you could swim outside but that was probably 30….plus years ago.

Guess I’m an odd Scotsman, I’m not too keen on haggis or whisky, I do like a good chippie but around here in Fife they are not too great, Anstruther is ok if you want to wait an hour and donate a kindney for it lol.

Looks interesting, a bloke was using one last night at radiation rumble, I guess it counts as a heavy weapon?

Looked at the Wiki and it's an explosive heavy weapon. Which for a Tesla Cannon, I was expecting electrical....

No idea when the double XP ends.

I have been running round with 50 extra carry weight and not knowing what it was. It has been driving me up the radroach infested wall!

Turns out it's the wrapping paper, 1 is 1 carry weight

Played about a little with the Tesla Cannon.

I don't know if I like it or not. Single target, slow firing large amounts of damage though. Regularly saw 1000+ on weakpoint shots without using critical shot or a specific build designed for the Tesla cannon. Seems pretty ammo efficient too. 5 ammo used to make a single shot and a capacity of over 20 shots before reloading isn't bad.

I came into late and I have taken to it. Like yourself I played all the other fallout games.
It's not PvP focused at all, unless you make it. I have not had a fight with another player yet and have no need to.
It does take more time dedication due to the way the legendary, scoreboard and plan farming works but it is worth it.
One point I love is going about doing solo questing then jumping into a public event and it being a full server is chaotic fun, then going back to questing and crafting.

When you start the game you should have an option to skip to level 20 rather than starting from level 1.

I think I am 117 on the scoreboard now, something like 12 points (gaaaaah) from 118 lol. Closing in on lvl 1050 although now that really doesn’t matter at all. Changed my build to fully suit a quad Enclave Plasma rifle which is my go to just now.....boy this thing sucks VATS like crazy but it's good fun.

I've done the first Raid room over 450 times now, so easy to solo, the second room I just cant do alone so I might try with a mate tonight to see how we do, we failed last time because he brought a bloody pea shooter (ok not quite) and those miners are chunky.

Still only done 1 raid and pretty much got kersplatted immediately.

Been doing a few caravans as I'm over rank 100 now the only bonus score I can get is from doing 3 events, and caravans count as events.

Apparently Tesla Cannon doesn't benefit from any Science perks. So just the normal heavy weapon perks then.

Got to rank 87 after clearing dailies and most of the weekly challenges. I should hit 91 by Thursday or Friday.
If I get to 150 by the season end it will be a first for me and a nice bump in scrip and modules.

If you want scrip and modules the raids are the way to go, 2 modules per raid and some scrip too, 2-3 legendary weapons/armour parts each run too, all in around 2 minutes for the first room start to finish. This will be nerfed soon so it's best to get in now, PTS already has a fix on it for the auto axe method.

We only do the first room but are really wanting to do them all eventually, we would need another couple of players when we do go to room 2, deffo need one defending and two getting fuel, then when they are enraged I think we would need two defending....need fairly decent damage or lots of shots.

I still have not tried a raid. I have a full hellcat pa set that needs the legendary effects sorting and I'm building an ultracite set as I like that more. Is the first room ok to solo?

It needs a build for auto axe and reflect damage but once the build is on it takes around a minute to get him down, sometimes a bit longer so all in around 2 minutes from point to point.

I'll be on tonight, probably on Private doing it later, if you want to join and die in the room you still get the same rewards. It's better if you die if you dont have the right build because he will focus on you and it takes a lot longer. With the right build you basically stand there and let him shoot you, the damge he is meant to do to you reflects on him and he takes his own shield down, after the shield is down he just sits there for a while so you get the auto axe out and chop him up.

Pretty boring but right now the best way to get mod boxes up to 4*, legendary modules, scrip, caps, weapons to scrap or keep, new armour plans and parts.

On another subject I have jetpack and calibrated shocks (hens teeth plan) for the ultracite armour, I can easily craft you a set with all the good stuff on it....no legendary just the rare plans. I could drop a few mod boxes if you say what you need, I may have some or can craft around 55 different ones now.
