Did anyone ever us an IF Berbatov? I've got a trade offer in for one at the moment as I wanted to try him. I can appreciate he's only got 71 pace, but what is he good at?

From every time I've played against him, I'd say not much at all! I actually ran into him twice last night with two different teams, and had him safely in my back pocket for the whole of both matches. His lack of pace is a real problem against good solid centre backs, as they're usually his equal in terms of strength and at least his equal in pace.

Ahh okay. :)

Who would you recommend? I've got about 100k and it can be anyone from the EPL. It's a 4-5-1 and at the moment I'm rotating, using van Persie, Chamakh and Bendtner as my front men, it's the full Arsenal side but thought I'd bring another striker in for a bit of outside help. After that I'll be looking at a better CM as I prefer Nasri and Cesc to be my CAM's.

Not used a Prem team I'm afraid, so can't be much help, but I would imagine Dzeko would be quite good. He's stong, pretty quick, can score from distance, and is good in the air. Everything you should need in a lone front man.

hmm yeah that does make sense, he's not that expensive either so he may be worth a try. :)

Can anyone think of any way to really improve it, with 90k coins? I've already had Xavi, and didn't really like him, his lack of speed and long distance shooting don't fit in with my style of play. Thinking of getting Robben for the right side, as I tend to bring my wide players inside, and a left footer coming inside from the right should give me plenty of shooting opportunities.

Any other suggestions?

All I found him good for was sticking straight back on the market and making a profit from him. He's slower than Ibra, and Ibra aint fast!

If I have the coins, I'd have him over Alves every day of the week. Ramos is good cover though, so you could sell Alves for, what, 20k?

Yeah, 20k is about right I think. Hmmm, decisions decisions. Maicon or Robben? Don't quite have the coins for both I think, even with selling Alves and Navas.

Is Maicon any good at free kicks? I mainly use Forlan for shots on goal but Alves is good for corners (it always seems to default to the right back), so if Maicon can also take them it'd save me always selecting someone else to take them :D

Try IF Ba? May or may not suit you, but can be an absolute beast, although maybe too slow for a lone man? Down to you to make that call, but he CAN be good!

Yes, even if you have to sell clothes to buy him, he's a beast :D Great defender, good on making moves from the very back, fast, strong, evil, eats the opposition's children before the match to incite fear and spits out the bones after the match!

Buy him :D

Maicons Free kick power & curve, and I believe accuracy are all over 80, he's scored a fantastic one for me and come close many times :)
