You ********...

This is a newish squad for me. Still getting used to them.
Keeping the ball off of either of you was the hardest bloody bit!

C'mon Tim, fancy giving me an easy game? ;)

My current Bundesliga team:

Subs: IF Friedrich, SIF Ozil, IF Renato Augusto, IF Sahin, IF Podolski, IF Kießling & Ballack.
Reserves: IF Tymoschuk, IF Pranjic, Adler, Beck, UP Vidal

Having a lot of fun with Klose, he's been a goal machine for me.

Recently bought SIF Ozil but have't used him yet. Managed to get him in a trade deal for an IF Gomez(80k), IF Petric(10k), IF Vidal(8k) and 50k coins :D so about 150k all in.

Yeah an IF or even SIF Neuer would finish the team off, apart from IF Ribery/Robben and I can't be bothered trading my ass off for them. It took me an age to get Schweinsteiger.

Yeah I bet! I'm very jealous of your Schweini and your Hummels. How come you don't have Lahm at RB? Personal preference?

This is what I've got at the moment, Klose is so much fun to use, against most CB's he can just destroy them, I find his right analogue stick nudge to be amazing he always knocks it past the defender. I can't remember exactly how many goals he's scored for me, but it's something like 73 in 30.

happy with my trading today :) With Messi coming down in price, he's averaging about 340-370k today from what i saw, picked him up for 340K this morning, put him on tonight and got a trade offer of Rooney + 207K, so about 400-440K depending on current buyers, minus the tax on Rooney I'm pretty content with that :)

Lahm is too small in my opinion. I found I was losing goals because of this, i.e. if an opponent swung in a cross to the back post or hit me on the counter and I had dragged a CB wide he would usually lose the header. Really liked Lahm going forward too but I think this contributed to losing goals :( .

So I got Fritz in who's a silver but is fairly decent: 6 foot tall, good pace (83) and feels more solid in defending. Also use Beck as backup but I think the Bundesliga lacks a good RB, hopefully one will be released in TOTW before the end of the season.

Klose has been beastly for me too, good pace and as you said can destroy most CBs (I find he's better in the air than Gomez).

Nice squad btw, I bet a lot of teams find it hard in midfield with that trio of Ballack, Frings and Schweinsteiger.

Thanks for the compliment! :)

Yeah I agree with what you're saying about Lahm, he's a bit on the short side and I've definitely conceded a few goals from a back post cross but nothing to make me want to swap him out just yet, though I'm sure it'll happen eventually. :D

Usually at corners I've got it covered by Ballack, Frings or Tasci, it's only open play that worries me when crosses come in on Lahm's side, but usually the midfield do a decent job of breaking up most attacks before they get that far. I think that the midfield trio work quite well but as you can see none of them are particularly fast so I sometimes have to make a sub or two, I usually sub out Ballack if he's having a bad game and put IF Kagawa there who I really like. I quite like playing Muller as a CAM too, I converted him from ST to CF so he has a green boot for both ST and CAM though I want to get him properly converted to a CAM at some point when I have a few more coins. :)

What do you think of IF Gomez? I was going to trade a few players for him but I think that Klose is more than good enough and I have UP Gomez and IF Petric to use if Klose gets injured/tired. Though I'm finding Petric to be a bit rubbish and would prefer IF Kiessling if one would bloody turn up. :(

Christ! No wonder no ones accepting my trade offers of IF Pique and half the Madrid defence.

Yeah, lol either the guy wasn't aware of the price drops of late, or just wanted Messi, only had 200k or so coins and had Rooney sitting there, either way, Rooney is up now starting at 235 with a 280 buyout, will no doubt get some "interesting" offers! But when he sells I'm looking at 90-125k profit after EA tax! :)

I have the same problem with Schweinsteiger and Frings and their lack of pace, occasionally leaves my back 4 exposed but I try to back off and drag one of them back.

I use to have UP Gomez before I got IF Gomez and to be honest I don't think theres a massive difference between them, nothing that warrants ~90k more anyway. I feel like I could switch back to UP Gomez and still be confident that I could play and score the same with him. I think UP might even have slightly better pace than IF  .

I had IF Petric as well but could never get on with him, just seemed big, slow, cumbersome with a decent shot. Can't see why he is 85 rated and I've never felt comfortable using him. IF Kiessling is better and is a worthy backup for IF Klose and Gomez. He's got good finishing and is strong so is dangerous in the box. He's not the quickest or best at dribbling but has enough (better than Petric!) to trouble defenders.
