Got to be honest, I don't have a clue about Bundesliga players! The ideal would be IF Klose with Robben and Ribery either side but 71k would probably only get you one of those. I'll have a look for you.

Could go down a hybrid team, choose what league you prefer for defence, then attack. I have a Bundesliga attack, rest EPL.

What happened to the EPL side?

Andy. I like Serie A defense and Brazil attack so something like:

Should do, I only ever do leagues rather than nationality hybrid teams but can't see it being an issue.

Nilmar would not be the best choice for a lone striker

Put some of it towards Nesta instead of Silva in defence, the man is a beast and doesn't go wandering off on Hikes during the match, unlike silva!

Rest sounds pretty ok, hate lone striker formatiosn myself, but thats just me!

just bought my new team - played 2 friendly matches against my cousin, and won both but i didnt like the feel of Forlan, he doesnt play like i thought an 87 rated striker would, also Higuain felt slow, i think his top speed is high but acceleration is slow. Im gonna switch the sides they play on and see how they feel tomorrow.

UP Ozil ---- UP Aguero

Diarra --- Assuncao

Evra - IF Mexes - UP Silva -- Maicon

so im going to switch Forlan and Higuain and see how they play on opposite sides.

Mexes is solid and an 88 CB in game menu whereas UP Silva is an 87 but on the cards Mexes is an 82 and Silva is an 84, so goes to show you card ratings are completely wrong in some cases.

If I could score more freely, with who I've played lately, I don't think I'd lose. I'm seriously bad scoring one on ones lol.

To those who recommended De Ceglie, Santon and Chiellini - thanks very much. Chiellini is absolutely immense, De Ceglie works really well in my team and Santon is a more than capable back up for Zanetti for me.

I play Gilardino more regularly, he scores roughly a goal a game. Cavani and Pazzini just don't seem to get the goals like him. I always try and keep the ball; most games I dominate position and I try and vary crosses and through balls.

I've got 24k saved - I've got nowt left on the trade pile. I can sell Motta, Samuel or Juan for a bit more cash but I think only Samuel would make any money of those three.

I can't decide between Eto'o, Ibra or Milito to partner Cavani as a deadlier replacement for Gila. I think Milito or Ibra are closer to his style and are more affordable - lost out on a 14k Milito last night thanks to EA servers. 85 Ibra is going for similar to what I've got and 84 Eto'o is available too but I'm not sure he's worth it.

TL;DR - Milito, 85 Ibra, 84 Eto'o? Suggestions pleeeeeez.

(Also have Lisandro Lopez who I could perhaps get 5 or 6k for that I've not particularly been impressed by)

I'll suggest you a good team to work towards, based off some of your players, my Serie A squad I used, bare in mind this is what I used and enjoyed, you may not, and your budget may not stretch all the way (I'll use none IF's not IFs) right now, but its a formation and setup I enoyed and got along with well.

Hey Tim.

Thanks for the Chiellini suggestion. He is indeed a beast. In my post earlier I wondered who people thought was better to replace Gilardino to partner Cavani out of Ibra, Eto'o or Milito. Only have 24k so could get Milito, but only 84 Eto'o or 85 Ibra. How does Milito play? Can he pinch headed goals well?
