btw totti at CF is perfect. Sits there and give amazing through balls to the striker, and can smash some in here and there. I would get toty ibra, as really good target man, as your 2 cams work as wingers.

It's certainly very hard playing with a silver team, coming from a lightening quick gold team it's hard anyway, the silver players are much slower paced and also their reactions, agility are really bad

Well there is four months until FIFA 12, I played UT pretty much every day so certainly a lot a of playability left.

This thread is for all consoles although I think most who post on here are on the 360.

Just rebought fifa 11 for the ps3 after getting bored with fifa 11 on pc. First two games I played online I scored first and then the two guys I played quit instantly. Never had this problem on the pc. I am level 11 on the pc and level 17 on the ps3.

Started Ultimate team last night, quite surprised how much there is to do in this mode. How long does it take to build a decent team? I don't want to spend a fortune on packs.

Lies! I have bought probably 4 gold packs in the whole of UT and the best player I've got is 85 Aguero, who sold for less than 10k so comfortably made a loss overall. You could buy a couple of packs with real money to get some 'capital' for trading, or you could do the 300/600 coin gold player method (buy them then discard when their contracts run out to get your coins back).

I did the latter method when I started back in March-ish (along with a cheap bronze team for the beginner tourney) and, after a lot of trading, this is now my team:

Actually the ultimate edition is exclusive to game/station and gives you 4 packs a month for 6 months. Other retailers have a special edition with 3 packs per month.

Also the rrp is now £54.99 on the game so I will likely picking up the ultimate edition on preorder at a tenner cheaper.
Free packs will save me money in the long run given how much I dropped on this years version...
