I'd recommend Gilardino and Pazzini up front to start with. I found both to be excellent, especially if you're going to be whipping crosses in.

I'm not sure this is entirely good advice (:p) but perhaps considering selling UP Silva for the 20k or so you could get for him, buy the 83 version for 10k or less and then use the rest to pick up Krasic and Di Natale / Vargas and Cambiasso. I'd agree with dumping Abidal and picking up De Ceglie who I think is a better player than Riise despite the rating.
 
After seeing Krasic's stamin go down quickly, I'd say go with Sanchez :p

Pazzini is great, on the TOTY his 99 positioning means he is ALWAYS where you want him, even before you know you want him there! Really a great player, works well as a target man with TOTY Eto'o, and also great when I bring on Milito/UP Ibra/Tevez who I have as subs, works very well.

I didn't think Krasic suffered all that bad. He felt like a bloody giant too.
 
He is big & strong, fast, good shooting, good passer, but has the stamina of Stephen Hawkins.

Also, a blonde guy in an italian league team...c'mon....
 
I had Sanchez for a bit and always thought that he had worse stamina!

Got shot of him anyway and got Krasic and Pato doing a job at RM (not at the same time though, obviously :D).

Not much. The defenders cost the most. 30k a piece. The rest of the team pretty dang cheap.
 
I'm loving my Brazillian side. Bit more conventional than yours Macky, but they're damn fun to play with. Ramires I find is a right beaut. Just gets in the box for headers, tap-ins etc. Luisao is an absolute monster at the back too, complements Silva very well.

How do you find Fabio Macky? Tempted to replace Diego Alves with him for the 4/5k he goes for. 6' 3" isn't he?

/edit: well, I will if I don't like IF Alex (85) who I just got for 20k. Skint now.
