*** Official FIFA 11 Thread ***

Bah, lost in the final of my first online tournament. won my games 3-0 / 4-5 / 4-1 then lost 6-1 in the final. I was actually playing better than him in the final but missed too many shots and he scored every shot he had. He ended up with 6 shots and 6 on target while I had 18 shots and 5 on target. :/

Finally got to 100 chem when I put Buffon in goal. Doni screwed up a lot in the final.

Debating if Torres is a big enough improvement over Ibra - seems to be double the money, chemistry wont matter as its broken for 4222 STs, dead links to CAMs is the main issue...

Still have a while to save up 250k if I can be bothered :p

You reckon EA will kill the servers as soon as UT 12 comes out? Because apparently UT 10 servers have been killed along with all online features of 10 along time ago. ****ing atrocious!

OK think Im gonna get rid of TOTY Lavezzi, Im just not loving him as CAM in 4222 - hes just a bit lightweight and hes made my team feel awkward to play.

Dont want to shove UP Aguero back there so anyone have any Brargie suggestions for CAM? I have a few ideas, but need to check pricing/stats...

Yeah was in my shortlist - either TOTY Hulk or TOTY Nene. I am looking at TOTY Alex though with his uprated pace, but hes a bit small. Got the first 3 in NIF form so best get testing, was gonna try to stay around 125k but I think I could stretch to TOTY Hulk (200k) - I just love his strength...

As people have said before it does seem sticking a ST at CAM just doesnt work

EDIT: Forgot how much TOTY Di Maria is - hes out :p

ps3ud0, how long have you been playing Fifa? like on a regular basis. Noticed you are a TUT founder. I didn't play fifa between 96 to 2004. Got back into it with Fifa 10.

I felt I did better against you last night but your Aston Villa side is brutal on the break. Your Sotuh American team was abit easier for me to play against. Felt I should have actually won that game but totally screwed up with my shots or Cesar is just god like.

I saw Eto'o for 14k yesterday using the 59min search. Didn't have enough to get him. :(

btw, is there a way to see your game history in TUT?

Managed another comeback in a n online tourny last night. Was 4-0 with 30 minutes to go. Took it back to 4-4, went to ET then I lost in pens. I just can't get the timing right with pens. Hate pens so much in Fifa 11..

if we are talking about fenerbache alex, then yes.

I asume you use a 4222 formation? If so I wouldnt use him. Way to slow. The cams in 4222 are more like wingers. Alex is more of a totti, sitting in the 41212 Cam position or cf position who sprays passes to the wings/attackers or just takes shots from outside of the box.

I hated Ibra, found him too slow.... Torres feels quicker and sharper but doesn't have the same physical presence. Depends on your style of play I guess.

UT Founder is just someone who bought the first UT IIRC so nothing special - I hadnt played FIFA between 09-99 myself due to not owning a console and not being a big gamer in that time...

I dont love my Brargie team, Im too complacent as youve seen due to the quality in it which seems to leave me much more open to attack. I think Villa even though they are far less rated just suit me more better...

With penalties stop doing the runup break or chips - it just removes accuracy.

TOTY Alex has 80 pace (dno in-game stats), much more than his previous IFs or NIF so why I was tempted. Also the more left-footers the better! TOTY Hulk is really who I want - just seems I need to put a load of money into my attackers...

Drogba - TOTY Pato/Torres/TOTY Lopez?
Kaka - TOTY Hulk/TOTY Nene

Thats a cool half mil right there :eek: - should have near 300k though...

Looking how I enjoy Villa over my Brargies I guess Id rather have pace than just pure strength - Torres or Pato hmmm

I could have bought him but I would have sacrificed the rest of the team and the aim was to have all IF which I achieved. I went 41212 for the first time in my life!
