I've seen there are a few FIFA 11 threads in the console forum and since FIFA 12 is going to be as good as the console version for PCs, I thought I'd make a dedicated PC thread. All of the news in this thread will be for the platforms Xbox 360, PS3 and PC unless stated otherwise.

Really want this on PC but how many people will be online as opposed to 360/PS3 versions?

Is "Ultimate Team" available on PC version too?

Ultimate Team will be on the PC version too.

Well, on FIFA 11 at the moment, there are usually about 1700 people online at one time which is more than enough.

I have PES 2009 (Old i know) and actually prefer Become a Legend mode over the tradition mode of playing. I'm looking to update and am considering FIFA 12 as an option (A little tired of playing West London White or whatever). I understand that FIFA has a similar mode (called Be a Pro or something) and was wondering how it compares to PES.

In PES you play a scout match and depending on how well you do it determines your stats and potential club offers. You then move to the club you choose, play through the reserves until you get to the first team when you can play in league matches and cup matches. Eventually you can graduate to the national team. Is this the same or similar in FIFA?

I think its the exact same for FIFA. I don't play the proper Be A Pro, I just play single matches as a winger etc.

I also created myself in the game and he gets exp. points when doing anything. For example, if you put him in Man United and play a normal match as them, he'll get better. If you play with him in the Arena, he gets more points. Then you can take him online and play with a team of other people's Pros or enter a league of Pros.

The possibilities are endless with FIFA.

I really hope this time that the pc version does it justice, sick to death off my ps3 fanboys mates saying ps3 is way better than pc.lets hope not.

They've said that the PC version will be better than console versions visually due to the higher resolution and anti aliasing options.

I've updated the first post with a new song from the sound track. Pretty good.

BY the way, first post has been updated with new videos including player stats in them (haven't sat through the Barca Real video so not sure about that one).

Every player seems to have been upped (Rooney and Vidic are 90).

Looks like they've not done much to stop the ease at which players get through 1 on 1 with the keeper with a through ball knocked forward. :(

it's not the same, PES does this much much much MUCH! better than fifa at least fifa 11 and fifa games past, in fifa you just pick a team to start with and stay there for a season and move if u want, during gameplay u will not get subbed off, even if u play shockingly bad, there is no training matches either, you do how ever depending on ur stats start in what ever team u pick reserve team, and work your way up, i am in no way a pes fan boy i much prefair fifa and have done for a few years now, but if u want to play BAL then get pes not fifa, if ur not botherd about it then get fifa (i dont know how it will be for this years fifa only going on what past fifa games have been like)

That does sound better. I hate not getting subbed off. Feels so unrealistic.

I'll be getting this, £10 cheaper than the console versions and looks better too :) All I ever play is the career mode and make Blackburn win everything lol

I'll believe it when I see it as fifa 11 pc wasn't the same as console hard to explain but console feels better and seemed to have more neat little touches and animations etc etc
