*** Official Fifa 16 Thread **

How did Fifa 15 turn out? Is it any good? It's quite cheap on origin and I imagine these are evolution not revolution with each iteration. Im not a hardcore fan, but it would be fun to play local 2 player with my nephew.
 
Ok heads up guys dont use the games lock to 60fps otherwise cut scenes etc will be locked to 30fps and gameplay will be 60fps.

What I have done, enable unlimited fps but use something to lock down frame rate to 60fps. Now if you have freesync or Gsync Screen tear will also be fixed if not you going to need find away to force vsync.

I used RadeonPro and enabled lock frame rate to monitor refresh rate. For me even with 144hz monitor freesync wouldn't work with frame rate at 144fps because how the game locks to 60hz the monitor couldn't match the frame rate @60hz

Another heads up buy cheap!
 
Really want to get this for PC but i only play Ultimate team and when you get to Div 1 its full off cheats and bots who just disconnect for coins so you cant even play you have to keep disconnecting to relegate yourself to Div 2. I might wait a while and see what the state of it is after a few weeks.
 
Cheapest i have seen this so far is cd keys for £26.99 for the standard edition. Going to give it a few days to see if anywhere does is cheaper.

I use radpro with a couple of games but the Fifa16 demo just locks up when I try it. Do you have anything added in the settings/compatability list?

I dont have AA options in my game settings/launcher either.
 
Yep works fine without AB.

Great game and for all EA's faults, they absolutely nail the presentation in FIFA. From the tv overlays, commentary and graphics which are insanely detailed now.

The only thing I ever play, normally have 4 on the go.

An Arsenal career, an Exeter career, a player career and a career where I chop and change all the squad with the world "best youngsters", I normally pick a Spanish L2 team and become amazeballs world champions with a team of under 21's.

Can't be arsed with the online aspect of the game and Ultimate Team stuff.

Same with me. Actually for the most part its because I am terrible playing online.

I usually do an Arsenal career, I may have to do a Bournemouth one as well this year.

This will be the first time of buying it for pc, every other version I have had on the xbox one or 360. 1440p and gsync is a massive persuasion now.
 
Yeah at 1080p with Gysnc 15 plays very nicely for me. I always played fifa on a console too

I'm still on the fence for 16, not sure if it is worth it or not. Shame we can't buy a chopped down version without the online stuff.

Suppose the market for that would be really small.

Just set no limit on fps, set it to windowed and use borderless windowed program to set it to fullscreen.

Thats the only way i could get fifa to be input lag free
