I think it is a real shame that Ford are not pushing forward with a 4WD version but I suspect this would have a big impact on production costs and in turn the sticker price and Ford perhaps see's that as a risk in the current market conditions.
And considering the new Kuga is using the Haldex 4wd system from volvo, and is essentially the same chassis as the focus.
Surely the could convert it to run in the rs easily.

(yes some off us wont be buying one but so far all we know is that it is unpopular decision maybe thats how most will feel) This was as good a time as any for them to take the risk, the focus is doing well, they can ride of the WRC success and the Japs didnt bring a car to the showrooms that we were after either. Maybe was to much to ask, but was just a shame......
