I'm a little confused with the manual pitstop process, does anybody fully understand the process?

At what point can the pit limiter be applied, and is it ONLY when your speed is below 62 mph? I've tried to apply it early but still accelerate over the speed limit.

There are 2 lines crossing the pit lane, is this the window only?

I'm surprised that Codemasters still got Silverstone track layout slightly wrong having Ant Davidson on the team!

Don't underestimate the weather!

Was having an awesome race when the weather started to change in the last 5 laps. Heavy rain with 2 laps to go I thought I'd be cheeky and stay on slicks. Last lap, I basically lost my steering wheel and plummeted into the barrier after a long straight, end of my race!

And not once did my engineer tell me ANYTHING about the weather!

I dont know if the difficulty needs some massive tuning.. I'm not amazing, so I played on medium to get to grips with it. I completely destroy them now, ending 30 seconds ahead in some races.

So I swapped to hard, and the AI just steamrolls me and I end up at the back or near the back. This is with a red bull so can't be a car issue

Guess I'm stuck in the middle.

Also the corner cutting system is seriously frustrating - you take some of the lines they do for real and you're apparently cutting the corner?! Even when you get shunted off and are recovering, you're classed as cutting the corner.

What driver assists are you running? Medium/No traction control should slow your lap times quite a bit as you try to stay on track! Also Fuel and Tyre simulation should slow you down too.

The numbers are part of the car skin. They won't change.

It can't have been a practical problem seeing as GRID had interchangeable numbers so surely this must be yet another licence restriction.

Any word on a patch date yet? Pretty much just waiting for this patch now

Codemasters posted an update today, looks to be all wrapped up and waiting deployment:

Update: The team have been hard at work and as a result we have now completed all internal testing on the patch.

The patch is now in submission with Microsoft and Sony for all 3 platforms, and once this process has been successfully completed the patch will be released, ready for you to download. Keep an eye out on the forums, facebook, and twitter, as we’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready to download.

Slightly concerned there have been no updates to the list of changes. Still no word about fixing Sector 3 times!
