That is why I don't race with randoms.

I am sure Andy is annoyed with the randomer too, but it was slightly amusing from my perspective.

Back to SP methinks.

Its all cool mate, i did notice the car right behind and kind of figured it out what happened, it was good race between me and you for few laps before i buckled under pressure and spun.

I was really struggling to manage the fuel though, i reckon i was playing with out any assists and i was spining the wheels too much could be the reason.

Yeah, was a tough race - getting pushed out by randomers and also managed to spin early on didn't help. Was equally tough catching you, I had an immense straight line advantage, but just couldn't get close enough to you in the corners to make use of it.

Isn't the league race tomorrow?

Ive not had much time on this game yet , school holidays means when i do get in , i have children preventing me getting to play like a big kid

All i have done is a few laps on melbourne and enjoyed it, im really wanting to come and race with you all one night , but i know im not ready and would risk crashing into someone and spoiling their enjoyment so i have not hooked up yet , what sort of lap times do you guys hit on melbourne ? I know you will all be fast than me but it would be good to know what to aim for before i feel "ready" to drive amongst others without causing big crashes or anything , im hitting around 1min36 most of the time now if i recall right , obviously you guys will be way faster than that !

Just jump in and find out when you get on - I don't mind the occasional mistake and crash - most of my frustration comes from people using my car to slow down instead of their own brakes.

Moved onto my second season, but the stupid game forgot my wheel settings (and so have I) - so won't be playing for a while because at the moment I have had enough of this game and its bugs.

Not sure how much online I'd do but If it's decent I might. Are the online races wreckfests?

Hang on a minute, didn't they fix the save game corruption in the patch for F1 2010? is it back? o_O

No, it has plagued their games since the original Dirt and Grid games - seems to be a problem with the Ego engine and one they can't fix. Ridiculous imo.

The Lotus (and for that matter all of the bottom tier) get killed on the straights whatever setup you use - luckily, it is very easy to out-brake the AI.

Good racing tonight - annoying bugs though - stuttering and starting my tyres on 0% at the start of the race. Will see if I can get on tomorrow evening

What was the reason the car turned into a ghost at the start of Brazil? for a second there I thought collisions was off... I was still a ghost and reappearing through the Senna S.

Tsk tsk, Murray. Twice you took me out. First my car went shooting off at turn 6 into the grass. The last move was the worst when you spun me out sliding into the wall at turn 7. You just barged through me even though you drove around with no front wing. Then all these other lame players joined in on Sepang and started derby central. I got taken out more times than I could remember, more so by smokernumber name.

How are people joining if the room is private? it said private in the lobby.

It just proves a certain amount of players all in causes connection lost. Not good if the league was to go ahead.

I have had ghost cars appearing a lot lately off the start, usually when people get off the line slowly - was it because collisions were off?

Should have had a private session - we didn't have a single good random person in there . I got hugely taken out at Budapest, then 4 pit stop bugs in a row (first one not changing my tyres at all, the next 3 times putting options on when I had selected primes)

The connections are definitely a problem too, I noticed quite a few of you were disconnecting - can only imagine how annoying that would be in a league race at 50%! I reckon just stick with our current race format.

Not sure if I will be on tonight.

There we go mate, you have advantage over my crappy Logitech DFGT paddles to start with. We can't have level playing field no matter what we do

By the way i am up for Brazil and Japan 20% races over the weekend with all the assists ban with cockpit view.

Even more of an advantage over my crappy Logitech Force EX - no wonder you guys can play with TC assist off!

I don't see a fix for crossfire setups? Good fixes, but the time that patch goes live no one will be playing anyway.
