Can anyone with a 120GB SSD confirm if it will fit? I've deleted every other game and still run out of space.

I'll let you know in a few mins, mine is 119GB formatted. Steam is about 750MB it should fit in theory...

Those of you unpacking to like 120GB+ are you using Steam? I believe the Rockstar download doesn't unpack right

I'm using Steam, it has completely filled (376KB free) my 250GB SSD and will now not resume unpacking. It got to somewhere between 75 and 80% unpacked and has now just stopped.

Awful show by R* and/or Steam not telling us about how it would unpack.

Definitely going to have to buy a new bigger SSD..

An upgrade to a ~500GB SSD seems tempting, now I have only got GTA5 on mine and its still unpacking again after clearing all my games off it and back down to under 10GB free. Dont even want to know how much its used to unpack.


EDIT just done ready to play 00:28 - back to 70gb free

Most people on steam seem to be ok. 90% of poeple using Social Club seem to be having problems, including myself.

Slept right after work to stay up and play it all night before next days work, of course they release it early. Ughh, I think 4 hours sleep might kill me.

Caffeine doesn't agree with me but I might need a butt load.

Sure I've seen some comments on reddit from people who had experienced the same thing before with other steam preloads and were expecting to need 120gb for part of the unpacking.

Not that anyone would believe them.
