The Tutorial is up to either the first LTS you have, or when you got your first personal vehicle and robbed a store.

Apparently there is also a message at some point that says "you are on your own at this point"

We can try again when your next back on and see if I can invite you.

Just had a few hours online, was fun! Did some missions, bought a second warehouse so I can constantly run the stock missions without having to wait for the timer in between etc.

So glad there is now a way to get rid of weapons, or at least have a default loadout on the weapon wheel
 
Don't think you can skip the tutorial unfortunately, hopefully it won't take to long. It's been so long I have forgotten how long it takes.

Once we can get the online missions going you will start ranking up quite quickly.

Will be jumping on later this afternoon for a few missions, have a lot of saving to do so I can afford all the new stuff.

Ah thanks Gamble! I have done the robbery and got a personal vehicle, and a notification for the first lts which I abandoned so I should be good now :D let the fun begin! I also bought an assault rifle. I have no home though, I'm a creepy looking homeless dude with a tux on and white surgical gloves lol

I'll be on around 19:00-19:30 (when I mention time I always mean UK).

I also need more people on my list, I've got 3 now lol. Send me an invite Radeon, if you'd like, it's f34rchannel on steam and forum name on SC.

FMJ, this is my favourite car, not had this much fun since i got my Orisis all those moons ago, the T20 was pants!

The active aero was a good move, I feel the adder should get it as a upgrade as it would finish the look of the Bugatti, other than that the T20 is a very predicable car, it handles exactly how you would expect tame high power cars handle.

The Orisis, Banshee S and the FMJ aren't forgiving what's so ever makes them so glorious to drive!

Very true! I am thoroughly enjoying driving it as well :) I went chasing after a stock drop this morning on a dirt road in that car and ended up skidding off the a cliff haha!!

Due to sever rubbish last night never got a chance to do any of the new things other than purchase the car and have a quick blast, not to mention it was hella humid last night and my cards were hitting 90degrees on 100% fan so playing wasn't really an option either way, hopefully on the weekend I'll have a good chance to try rest of the DLC I got plenty of cash saved up so buying the biggest and best of everything isn't a problem
 
I persisted last night to get online so ended up buying:

HQ - Arcadius
Gun rack within
Safe within(which I realised after was useless)
Living Quarters within
2 x large warehouses

Two new sports cars that aren't the reaper.

Then this morning I spent a few hours buying stock for the warehouses and doing those missions which were good. The whole map population gets notified when you collect something and try to stop you.

Also spent a bit of time selling the stock on for more money to see how the delivery system works. I tried the plane only which was good.

My main recommendation, get the armour for the tug boat/plane/van as it can withstand a sticky/bullets from buzzard etc.

All in all, $14.5 million spent.

With Living Quarters would you be able to give up any other properties owned and use full time? Or do you still need to own a house, i mean i have a house in Vinewood Hills but its pointless as i dont spend anytime in it and always get the game to spawn me to my garage

I haven't tested to see if you can set it as the spawn location but I think you technically could give up your house for this as you can always call your mechanic OR use your receptionist to call in your cars.

Only thing you would give up is the ability to host heists really.

You even have a wardrobe for clothes in the living quarters.

Heists is pointless, you don't make enough money given the investment in time, if you and 2/3 other people do the couple of survivals, you make the same amount if not more money in same time.

Interesting, i change my clothes from the interaction menu anyways, but this seems like a viable option, ill await for you to confirm before i make rash decisions and sell of everything.

I quite like online play, hackers are a whole different kettle of fish, ive been on some days and not a single one in sight, then ive been in sessions with 5/6 hackers and its been insane, its mostly fun with spawning of awesome things such as jumbo's and lost and damned slam van and such, but you always get that one idiot that likes to blow to everyone up for the sake of annoyance, but ive found if you leave hackers alone they kinda leave you alone!
 
Had a quick few hours this morning and noticed one hacker. Couldn't kill him. Other than that my sessions were packed and I was invited to be an associate and had a few good games with the random CEO. Looking forward to joining Gambles Organisation.:D

I haven't been on much but it used to be a case of every server I went on, there were hackers everywhere...

Now though, I think it has calmed down a lot. People still ask for money in the chat with is annoying af to see but its fine as R* are handing out lots of bans.

I wont be home till about 5:30/6 so will check then. If you are on before me, let me know if you can set the spawn location as the office.

I wont get a chance to come on before i weekend, i work really really strange hours and try to save all my gaming time for the weekend. So ill be relying on you for informationz ;)

Will be OK for a few days, however things might change on that as the script hooks get amended.... Still worth it for SP and invite sessions for heists if you don't like the thought of issues online. I play exclusively in invite sessions and missions and have a large number of like minded GTA friends and we have a blast.

OK all.... Rumour time

There is a thread on steam that say the new anti cheat is picking up on a number of gamer running programs.

I personally do not believe this but just putting it out there.
On the list is Afterburner using Riva tuner, Discord (LOL) Team speak (LOL) and a whole load of others.

SO if you do get a ban for no reason, let us know on here... I had discord running all day yesterday and no ban here. I am calling it snake oil but is gaining traction.

Also

Seems high ranked players are getting kicked from sessions if they take part in FF events against other players. Getting called out as cheats and kicked from the lobby....

Some good news.

Seems R* has patched CE tunables and the external java hacks have also been patched (god mode) Insta ban if you use them....That from the dev's of the mod. Not sure about paid menus though.
