Is the new DLC good?

I actually did the unthinkable and uninstalled the game so if this is good it might tempt me back in lol

Finally know how good this game looks on your system, 4k+sweetfx is perfect and keeps the FPS nice and high with the settings on ultra, even got a few ticks of extended scale distance.

I will be around this evening, Add me on SC -BAGPUSS-

What sort of crash is it and what are your specs

Ah man, just seen this! I spent most of the night messing with my overclock which in the end didn't make any difference it was just killing my OCD. I'll add you when I'm next on will probably be tomorrow or Sunday :)

Been racing a lot. Winning ~25-30% now (car races). Making a fortune. I see you can view best times within the OCUK crew. Pretty cool.

Is it just me or are bike races lacking in skill and outcome is almost completely random.

A lot of the races don't really require any skill. Almost every single one has catchup and slipstream on so even if you're hitting every turn perfectly, someone slower than you is still going to be able to overtake and potentially smash you off the course.

I did a bike one yesterday, despite being obviously faster than the rest of the pack, guys were slipstreaming me over jumps and flying way off into the distance.

I do wish that they were disabled by default, or had a penalty for using them (50% cash reward/RP).

Hear what you're saying, but it adds another dimension. Knowing someone is behind you, and can draft means you have to drive more defensively. It's just another skill.

Yeah I see what you mean - I suppose making the range of the slipstream a bit smaller, and getting rid of catchup completely would be perfect.

I've given up on defensive driving in GTA, it's easier to slow down a touch, let them pass and then get ahead again. Usually trying to block an overtake results in being smashed into or being spun out :p
