***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

Just noticed that there's a couple of fixed license plates when you spawn the cars using a trainer (in SP). I just saw that one of them is "46EEK572" which to me looks like 4 6EEK5 72 or "For geeks, 72 (virgins)" :D
 
Anyone running this with a 1080 @ 21:9 (3440x1440)? What kind of FPS are you getting and what settings do you have? The options in this game are frustrating to have to keep changing and restarting etc. Any 'best settings' guides out there?
 
I would have though a 1080 would blitz it at 1440, i would just drop extended scale distance to a few ticks from minimum and turn the grass to high, im sure you could max the rest out, if your wanting loads of AA then you might have to drop a few more settings.

Still have some elite challenges left to do. Will get around to doing them one day. Still haven't played with the stunts update yet and it looks really, will try and give that a go later if I can remember the controls again :)

As BluD said. Your card will run everything at max, even advanced graphics but it is just grass and post FX that might bring your card to its knees if you use MSAA. (set everything to max before touching the grass setting as that will need a reload)

I have a 980 @1080p and hate jaggies so I use X4 MSAA and have to have grass and post FX on normal. The 1080 should still kill those setting with grass set high/very high @1440

Yep the stunt races are brilliant. I quite happy racing with randoms as it is so much chaos.... Elite challenges as well. need to get the last three done :)

Get money as everything is expensive :D

Other than that, so much has been added it is to much to list. Online is so different to what it was a few months after release. I have not seen cheater/modder/hacker (delete as appropriate) for months..... in fact the only griefing I have come across is lobby kicking.

Unfortunately they are still around, however they are so much less now and can't do the extreme things they used to like killing servers/ turning people into UFO's or giving out money to people or even banning them.

However they do still have things like god mode unfortunately but it's definitely an improvement since i first played :D.
