Hey all, something a bit different for you. I see a few of you recently completed Criminal Mastermind - well, we speedrun the Elite Challenges on heists. A fun extra challenge if like me you are no big fan of the recent DLC's. Should make for easy money/getting the elite t-shirt following our routes :)

Here we are below doing Fleeca Bank finale (first heist) real fast in 4m31 (need to do it in 5:20 for elite)

Thanks ! Yup every time you do it in under 5.20 you get the bonus. Was the suits that made us go faster obviously.

For the mask, on heists it asks you to press G to put it on when you reach bank , but as this can lead and cause doors at bank not to unlock both driver and driller equip it manually during the drive .

Could macro it I guess using a script if you really want but problem is GTA keep adjusting order of items in quick menu (I used to have macros for health and armour to do Crim Mastermind)

I'm rank 40 I think, I played when it launched on PC (had already finished SP on XBox).

Dropped back in this weekend and no idea what I'm doing! Have 1mil cash, one of the cheap apartments with a 4/5 cars and a motorbike in it. Not sure where's best to start, especially being billy no mates. Be nice to buld up some nice stuff but want to enjoy doing jobs and heists and whatever else there might be. Seen some CEO type stuff go down but I assume that's for people with friends and capital? haha

Funny really, played GTA since the start as a was on GTAForums as a mod for a long time and was quite involved. I used to make cars for GTA1 in Paint Shop Pro and also dabbled in 3D stuff. I dunno why, but the Online never took me when I started off, but my PC couldn't handle GTAV when i launched. Now I have the power, It's peaked my interest. Love the GTA World.

Also, fun fact, the Duper 7 sport wheel (The Nissan GTR looking one) is loosely named after me (Becasue Dup would be an odd name and Duper is still part of my surname), along with some of the wheels in that same list from other GTAForums members.

Yeah, you can tell they are winding down.

All level locked weapons have been unlocked, all heist vehicles are available to all now via a "buy it now button" so you don't need to unlock them by doing heists, same with level locked warstock, so you can own a tank at level 2 now :D

So yeah defo winding it down.

Gun running will be the last IMO as there is literally nothing left to release. However a mansion or two would not have gone a miss.

Trying to find a new game is proving difficult though lol

That'd be awesome, to just snap up those houses in the hills. Maybe not even go inside (that'd require a lot of extra work), park on the driveway and go for a swim. Not sure of the point exactly but then is there any point to half the car mods not really.
The Chinese love this game apparently, I doubt they want to lose that market by risking too much on a new GTA. They'll want to transition people for sure.

They should reclassify the benny mod cars from supercar back to sportscar. That is the whole point of modding a normal street car. Obviously modding the hell out of a nova doesnt make it a supercar except according to the GTA makers it does and so they are useless in races.

Another massive world type engine would be Arma 3. Not sure theres any mod to your liking.

New games have to be sight impaired friendly. Whilst lots in GTA V is not, lots is. However I can not do PVP as I cant see the radar very well so pretty much get owned straight away. Same with chat. Unless I am having a good day, I can hardly see the chat.

I might be wrong but GTA is banned in China and most use a VPN. Saying that I have Chinese playing friends as well as Korean. All really nice to play with.

However there are some complete twonks out there.

Anybody else noticed the lobbies are full of low ranks and high ranks only, not much in between?
 
Yup, most of the low lvl guys i see nowadays are just guys starting another char. I've played with loads of chinese and korean guys too, normally in teh early hours of the morning though when all the brittish guys have gone to bed. Havent played much GTA recently, just loving Arma 3 Exile atm, its so querky and full of hundreds of bugs and glitches but that just seems to give it character :) and dont mention the fact ya get 30 fps half the time.

Yea seen more and more low level recently joining purely for the double payout and rp races to rank up fast then spend big on all the new unlocked and released vehicles

Those of you who install the Windows 10 Creator's Update may find GTA V fails to launch if you are using RivaTuner. Install RivaTuner Beta 7.0.0 Beta 19 to fix this.
 
I've been playing single player for well over a year but today has been the first time I've ever seen an undercover police car. I was on a shooting spree so had 3 stars and this black car with 4 cops inside came about. Obviously I'm used to the Noose SUVs but not a plain black car like this... just wondering if anyone else had seen one??
