From clicking the desktop icon, to being loaded into invite-only session is 1 min 44 seconds for me
So it should be much quicker to get back into the game after a CTD

Im tempted to play it, but im so far behind. What DLCs do you have to buy to get all these new heists? Or are they unlocked as you rank up anyway?
He said they made an exception to the rule as the money is normally only given to those who find security flaws. It is about the most human thing R* have done in.........
The original heist requires a high end apartment. However, that is a bit of a nightmare to get people to join.
The Doomsday requires a facility but can be done with 2 people. There are a couple of quite tricky missions that require some practice though.
The Casino heist requires an arcade and again can be done with 2 people.
The Cayo Perico heist requires a sub and can be done solo.
If I was starting from new, I would buy a copy from CD keys as it is the premium edition and you get a number of cars and properties and 1 million starting cash. You will need to level up but that is very easy at the moment as there are a number of contact missions that are double RP. Once you get enough money, buy a sub and then grind Cayo Perico heist as it is over 1 million an hour and quite fun solo. If you can find some mates even better. Just watch out PC is a modders paradise and can be a nightmare if you want to get on with stuff. However, on PC there is a way to get solo public session quite easy enough.

Now into a new generation of consoles and still only the odd whisper and rumour of a new GTA game
Yet it's still going strong and looking great
A testament to how groundbreakingly this was when it was released 8 years ago and still not been trumped by any similar games yet

Then they can make another exception and pay more than the regular bug bounty. $10k (£7.2k) is a joke considering they will easily make multiple millions from it and it will save their players thousands of years in wasted time.
That is better than getting him to lawyer up by sending the Take2 goons to serve him a cease and desist with the threat of further litigation because he decompiled their code. Which is their normal way.
I said it is the most human thing R* have done since...........

ha! nah sorry that's pretty standard although not as widespread as you initially think. I would advise starting some of the businesses - arms running and MC meth lab. Then grab a submarine for Cayo So much to do on it though!

It can be a bit of a nightmare.
However you can get a solo session by simply suspending the process via resource monitor.
Open resource monitor,
find GTAV.exe
right-click and suspend process
wait 6-10 seconds
resume process
that will clear the session of everybody and you can go about your work unhindered.
Unfortunately there will always be flying bikes with dicks on out to ruin everybody's day whilst screaming "BUT R* WANT US TO DO IT" which of course they do. Literally. or "Git gud Noob"
Anyway here is my way of maximising Cayo...

Its the only thing that puts me off, is all the silly vehicles. I know the game is meant to be fun and a bit extreme, but it was at least semi realistic in Single Player with the cars etc
Now its like they have just gone for extremes for multiplayer. Ive seen my son play it on his PS5 and im just not a fan of that way of playing. Rockets fine, but flying bikes and cars... nope

Yep, it all went a bit over the top a long time ago LOL I mean not just flying/submersible/Jumping vehicles. Rocket Laden jet packs and flying bikes mad aircraft. Also the laser weapons, the plasma gun and all the general other nuts stuff. Now we have a nuclear sub, that when you beech it on the shore at Vespucci, pretty much none of the NPC's take any notice as if the population have gotten used to the total bat **** crazy world they find themselves in.
I love it though
Lester alludes to it in the prep for the Doomsday heist. "a Russian invasion of Los Santos is definitely not something you'd have expected a few years ago, but now I'm like, meh"

The SUB is completely useless. Bought the top spec 1 for 9m and not used it since. Like most vehicles/etc its a waste of time.
The Sub is used for the Cayo Heist so is a must if you want to earn 1.2 million an hour. I grind the heist so spend most of my time in it outside of the Casino heists. I use all the weapons on it as well. Use the torpedos, air defence and the cruise missiles in the prep and the chopper all the time. Of all the useless vehicles introduced the sub is the one I will use the most.

Yeah i know its used for the heist, its just pretty useless as a vehicle. Like everything GTA V the anoying part of having to get to it, maybe get a 2 minute load screen, then access what you want. Its just meh. The missles are crap to control on PS4, and its blown up by 1 hit.
I will say the sub car toredor thing is awesome though. Thats definatly not useless.
Don't really need to earn any money anymore, ive got 30m just sat in the bank, ive got every vehicle i could want, think ive earnt 300m in total. Cant really play it now without friends, its just boring, or theres the usual barcode moron.

the businesses without the upgrades are slow to get money- you can't buy the goods basically and must do the missions to resupply. I would advise grinding that and the premium missions/events until you get the sub! Once you have the sub you can grind the heist (even without a sparrow) in about 2 hours. When you get the sparrow this will drop to 50-60 mins per run.
Arms will get you the most - make sure you sell after it gets a quarter full so that you only get one vehicle to run. roughly 140k in stock. You could save up and buy the upgrades but it will take longer to eventually get the sub.

Yeah, the Toreador is an amazing car. One of the few that I have bought and kept.
