***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

Found all 90 GTAVI clips combined in 1 video.

GTAVI rendered on GTX 1080, GTX TITAN X, RTX 2070 SUPER, RTX 2080 SUPER, RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3080. Really surprised GTA VI used less than 10GB VRAM. :)

Holy crap I hope GTAVI will release on PC at same time as both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. :D
Don’t start that **** again!

Don't judge performances based on this, lots of assets don't even have textures in this build so naturally vram usage doesn't reflect final build

That some on socials are criticising this saying it doesn’t look like GTAVI and looks poor clearly have no clue about game development. That they have this as playable as it is, a likely 6-9 month old build, likely 2-3 years away from launch (I can’t see a launch before 2024 tbh, they only just stopped all V Online development to put everyone on VI) I think this looks very slick.

My only concern is that it looks like V with slightly better graphics, albeit needing proper textures put in. It’s an established formula, I wonder, and worry, there’s no innovation to be had and it will feel like a big expansion to V.

the OP who leaked all this stuff got back online a bit ago, he said in his OP if T2 or R* employees want to contact him to send him a telegram message with this string of numbers (no idea what that is) so he strike a deal with them..

I know hes only a kid, but does he think T2 and R* will do anything apart from sue his ass?

If he's looking at making some kinda deal with them then he must have some 'better stuff' that he's not released yet

Wonder if they’ll release a trailer and some details as a way to lessen the value of any details that have been stolen.

News going round that it's going to potentially delay the game even more, especially if the person that leaked the initial 10k lines of code makes the rest public. We'll have to wait and see if Rockstar say anything.

These things are more likely to delay games.

if the footage is newish, then it actually helps the developer because they receive some feedback, like do users like that the main character is a cuban female and white wannabe ganstar - for example if they find people react negatively then they may change the game which delays it.

If the footage is old, then it doesn't matter as much as the game has probably changed a lot since - however delays can still occur because they need to lock down their I.T systems, figure out how the leak happened and then put in steps to avoid it again and this can take time and delay the game. It sounds like this issue has occurred due to a developer working from home who uploaded game files to an online sharing site that's outside of Rockstar control and then he used the same password as he used for another person website which was the one that was hacked and then the hacker had his game file password. This may cause Rockstar to force everyone back to the office and stop all WFH.

An employee was sent a phising email, clicked it and gave the user access to Rockstars slack. It's the same method that was used to access Uber a few days ago (same user).

If you watch some of the clips you can hear slack notifications in the background.

Again, this kind of email should be picked up in Rockstar's firewall, I'm guessing WFH meant bypassing it.

But at the end of the day you cannot stop stupidity, it's up to web services and all internet services to be using multifactor authentication

Maybe you should get in touch with Rockstar and hand them your CV

Last update for me for tonight.

The guy that leaked all this has deleted their Telegram account, shortly after an image claiming to be their location has been doing the rounds.

The Dev in question supposedly received a call from 'IT' asking if he's received a Slack 2FA notification. They said yes and granted the change on the instruction of 'IT'. If that person isn't sacked by Tuesday evening I'd be very surprised.
