Look at the huge crowd today compared to the numerous testing, qually and warm up days.

Gutted I couldn't get to a 500 whilst I was living over there for a few years from 2016, ticket prices were astronomical and had a huge waiting list. So made it to St Pete instead when it came to watching an Indycar race.

I do sometimes think he's a bit excitable; but its just the way they are; the US viewers would probably love Crofty hyping up the Indy 500

Not gonna lie, I do miss Will hosting the F1TV footage. Laura Winter is good, but Will had been in the world all his professional career and had the edge when it came to interviews etc.

But I do believe his family is settled in the states, so when Fox offered him a wedge to lead the commentary for Indycar. It was a no brainer compared to being away for weeks at a time in the F1 circus.
