**** Official Infamous: Second Son ****

Neon is easily the quickest and fastest for getting around, especially when
you've upgraded it so that you can just hold circle and it never stops
I prefer it over infamous 1 + 2 for getting around and the game in general. Also just completed it and really enjoyed it, although I would have liked more personally unless I just did not see all the time go by? Ah well, time go clear up all the stuff I didn't do (which I've already done a lot of), oh and the infamous paper trail site/mission stuff.
 
Finished this 100% now. Bit too quick, but enjoyable. I'd guess probably lasted me 12 hours in total, didn't rush through really either, just played normally.
 
I'm around 40% done so far on a good playthrough, just taking my time and collecting everything and doing the side missions. Enjoying it so far but it is basically doing the same thing over, rinse and repeat. If they can add a bit more variety to the missions for the next game it would benefit from it. I would give it a solid 8 but certainly room for improvement. :)

No wonder I have so many unplayed games from PS+, takes me about 2 weeks to get 12 hours into a game, when did it happen, when did the other half manage to tone down my gaming sessions.....
 
whats the deal with the Paper Trail addon ??? for one i cant sign on to the site to let me play it, and can i go back to it after i have completed the whole game ??? or do i need to play it before i move on to the mission

You've made a new account on the paper trail site right? As it's separate to your psn account that you then link through the site.

That's the thing it won't let me create a account.

ok got it going.... seems it was a proxy extension i use in chrome that messed it up.

still have to ask though but can i go back to this after i have finished the main story

Just got my third power. The "boss" fight to get it made me REALLY angry and this was simply down to the controls and camera. The camera kept sticking bits of scenery in behind my character so I couldn't see what I was shooting at and when I was trying to avoid attacks I kept grabbing hold of ledges and dying because of it. Next gen but still the same old problems.

Out of the 3 powers I think Neon is best. My only gripe with the powers is that you can't increase the damage for them.

ah weird, and yes as I've just started it after completing the story.
 
anyone know why the locations of the hidden cameras/graffiti and secret agents arent showing on my map despite immobilising the mobile dup units

ive found all the blast shards too but the above still arent showing
 
Just completed the game. Took me around 18 hours in total.
Loved every minute of it. The graphics are fantastic and I only had proper slow down a couple of times while fighting big bosses while firing lots of explosive shots.

Can't wait to see what developers get up to with later titles on the ps4.
 
Just picked this up to try and break my fifa addiction, hopefully it will serve it's purpose.
Any basic tips to make life a little easier starting out for someone who has never played a infamous title?

There's not much you need to know, you'll enjoy it more having not played the previous games as the core gameplay is largely unchanged so the slightly repetitive nature of the side missions is unlikely to bother you as much. Enjoy dude! :D
 
Picked this up at the weekend to have a blast on altough I havn't played it yet. I ended up getting the Special (limited?) edition as my wife wanted the beanie... :o :D

Watched on quick playthrough of the very beginning and it looks quite fun. I havn't read any more about it as I want to go in "blind" so to speak. I havn't played the previous games so hopefully I won't be too dissapointed by things being missed or changed.

Had this as well in a certain district,I just carried on with story and they showed up again after a while.

Does anyone get the odd frame drops in this?, notice it a little every know and then.
 
Played about an hour or so tonight instead of firing up fifa. Really enjoyed what i have played so far.

Visually it's stunning, does a good job of telling the story without bombarding you with cut scenes and i like the fact you could choose what path to go down; I've opted for evil for my first run and instantly felt guilty after my first choice and seeing all the injured :D

My one gripe is the combat controls, I'm not familiar with 3rd person games like this one so this is no doubt a moot point once i get to grips with the style and comfortable attacking multiple enemy in close quarters.

All in i am quite impressed, makes me very excited for titles like the Division and the advancement in visuals it promises.
