The Metro review is very good and I agree with what is said although I think Tomb raider is a better looking game. But otherwise a good honest review which is rare these days.
 
Completed second run through yesterday, playing as evil was so much more fun than good. Enjoyed it overall, although I would rate Infamous 2 higher. The one thing that really bugged me about the same was regarding the powers
Disappointed that you don’t get to really use your concrete power, as by the time you get them everything else is complete, so seems a waste or bit of an after thought
 
Just completed my first play through as a good guy, really enjoyed this game and it surprised me for a series which I've never played before. Is the 2nd play through really worth it, or is it more for achievments?
 
I too completed it on 'Good'. First inFamous I've played all the way through. Decent game, visually brilliant, although the gameplay can be a bit tiresome after awhile.

Evil does look more fun, so I probably should have picked that first.

Definitely a 7.5 or 8.
 
The saga with Gamestop is still ongoing sadly. I've still not recieved a refund to bring part exchange price down to 15. I sent a email and got a reply two weeks later saying I wasn't on some list and so that meant they hadnt received my game. I have proof of postage, I don't believe Royal Mail has lost it rather that Gamestop are just incompetent based on this dealing (I had to chase them up for the trade in documents in the first place). Ive tried 3 times to ring them and after waiting a while ive been hung up on. Will stick to Amazon and Shop.to from now on.

There are quite a few achievements for the evil play through but apart from that it is generally more fun due to the wild abandon and carnage you can reap without having to think about it! ;)

Stick with neon, it makes getting out of the lava hilariously easy because you just use the super jump thing :D
 
Yeap, that's the boss I was talking about a few posts up.

The bosses in this game a terrible, they can just kinda pin you down and destroy you. That he who dares was worst as there was next to no cover either.

Just finished the game about a half hour ago. Will pick away and get all the districts cleared and stuff, then ill probably just sell it. Don't fancy a second play through with evil.
 
Beat him on my 2nd attempt after a break. He was easier but still incredibly cheap. Coming from the boss fights in Dark Souls this is just a joke. Shame really as I'm really enjoying the rest of the game so far.
 
I actually found that boss really easy on expert. A good way of attacking him is staying on the warping points and he struggles to hit you. I'm almost at the end to get my platinum. It's just repetitive now tbh, they really need to vary the missions if they do another.

EDIT: just got my platinum trophy. Now to get stuck into Lego movie!

I'm playing through the game a second time as a good guy and I'm slightly disappointed that most of the cut scenes are exactly the same as they were when I was a bad guy. I thought they'd be different :( So it's even more annoying that I can't skip them!
 
found eugene really easy on my second play though on expert/evil than i did on normal lol same for the end boss, is the cole dlc out for people that didnt get the special edition ??
 
How do I get to the DUP tower? I can't go across the bridge and it won't allow me to use the signs as a short cut :confused:

EDIT: Nvm, I have to go across the other bridge.
 
Change Time-of-Day

Once you beat the game, a new entry will appear on the options menu to allow you to select the time of day! A very popular request indeed, and one we’re excited to enable for you all.

HUD On/Off

Especially for those amazingly talented screenshot taking folks, we’re including an option to let you turn the HUD on and off.

Cap at 30FPS

Internally we prefer the unlocked frame rate, but we recognize that some players find it distressing. So we’ll provide a way to ensure the game is not bumping up over 30FPS, if that’s how you prefer to play.

Sounds good for the future update they are going to release.
 
I hope Sony get the message that having the option to limit to 30fps is something that should be standard - so people that percieve judder can employ it and those that arent as sensitive can leave it well alone...
