Figured this is better here than cluttering up the Ferrari Le Mans thread...

Nissan unveil the petrol engine for its all electric Le Mans car...

Or is it a Hybrid...?

No, its just a normal petrol powered race car with a 'battery mode' that lasts for 1 lap...



But ignoring the Zero Emission garbage, its quite impressive to get 400bhp from a 1.5L 3-cylinder weighting only 40KG.

Just a shame its not in the proper DeltaWing.

Well there's a surprise...

Apart from nicking the whole Deltawing design, the zero emissions claim was complete garbage.

Wouldn't mind one of those engines in an Exige though...
