***Official Left 4 Dead 2 Thread***

I loved the bright zombies. Jumping repeatedly in the elevator in the hospital made me fall through the floor though. Was funny as hell.
 
Insanity Versus 8v8 Update:

General:
-No Mercy, Blood Harvest, Dead Air, Death Toll and Crash Course campaigns now added to server
-Motd Updated
-Server now always runs in Versus mode, meaning direct connects are now possible. However it is still recommended that you connect via lobby if you are hosting an 8v8.

Infected:
-Can now jump in Ghost Mode
-Smoker Tongue now has more health
-Jockey speed reduced
-Witch Burn Time Increased
-Tank Burn Time Increased
-Tank punch now does more damage

This update was more of a workings fix than balance changes.
 
Defo more fun playing with you guys, even though I'm not so much of a sneaky bear as my name suggests :D I'm still a bit of a noob, only played it a few times.

Will look forward to more games though
 
My coursework finishes tonight (on last section now) then its L4D2 for 3 weeks over Xmas. yeeeepppeeeeeeee

Gonna order a server tommorrow night so I can play about with the Left Fort Dead plugin and other nice sourcemod scripts :D

hehe, it as a good game - soooooo close at the end - 46 points and two incaps yards from the chopper - crappy tank spawn at the ened of the finale though :) get your mic sorted it doesn't matter if you have a squeaky voice - there's loads of weirdos on there!

And I think Valve need to seriously change the sound effect when you're special infected and you get hit with the grenade launcher or explosive ammunition. That ringing noise seriously makes me want to smash my keyboard off my forehead - so I encourage the entire infected team to go for whoever has one :D

My internet cut out just as we were about to start the infected round in the finale, gutted!
 
Team Vs was pretty good last night, we were intending to play some randoms but it turned out the other side were ocukers (mks, ben etc) - good stuff with many close calls, just when you think you've lost the round the next round turns out in your favour \m/

I have to say, we get some funny reasons for people going afk/leaving :)

Who went afk for 5 minutes to help the misses bring in the shopping? ;)
 
iirc, bledd can't use his mic when his Mrs is around in case she thinks he is a wierdo for playing games and talking to the people online who he is playing with! :)

As a gamer whos Mrs does occasionally play TF2 and enjoy some FPS, I find it strange that some people have birds who completley don't condone it or understand that it is relativley normal in modern day games online, Xbox, PS3 and PC. I have been there and don't think I could do it again!

Anyhoo, enough OT. Last nights game with mks, ben, etc was really close. Only about 20 odd points in it at the end! I'd say we had the slight advantage on the first three maps but they managed to get someone on the boat in the finale, even with the tank spawning right on the gate!
 
My Mrs thinks I'm a weirdo cause I play games on the PC full stop.

When I've got my headset on and am talking to people at the same time it degenerates into verbal abuse or her creeping into the room and jumping out on me cause I can't hear her.
