***Official Left 4 Dead 2 Thread***

It would seem as if that "exceeded number of vpk files" error is quite common. Just had a quick peruse of the Steam forums but nobody seems to have a solution, it just either works or it doesn't.

Just tried out that map on normal with AI. Horrible,a bsolutley horrible, they shot every single witch, made me incapped about 4 times due to being unable to walk around a car, getting in my way in the narrow passages...the list goes on.

With human players it should be fun though! :D

Yeah apparently its a major problem that valve don't seem to be fixing which is a pretty big pita.

Thats why you shoot them yourself ;)

no we always played with random teams where no one really talks/communicates.

What I'm saying is get a team together and play each other (same teams) like once a week or so.

Following up from this, who'd be up for getting a few ocuk teams together so we can all play some good team games (tvs style) without having to go through all the hassle of RQ's/config issues and all the other crap that comes with it.

Hopefully we can get enough teams together so that those who want to play can always get a game.

And l4d2 is much better once you're playing with a regular team and get used to how each other play.

Post if you're interested and we'll see if we've got enough to start a thread and try and set it up.

I'd be interested though im not one of the better players so might make a team a bit weak

trust me with a reg team it's nothing like the normal random teams in insanity, once you get used to each other/start using/coming up with tactics together the game gets much easier :p

Plus personally i think it's much more fun when there's more team play (individual aim matters much less too)

Practice tactics and just get the basic things right, being aware, listening and staying close to your teamates and the rest will come. Some things such as aim may stay weak, but if you get those other points right then your team will do so much better. :)

I agree with this i far prefer playing when theres lots of team play, i find it pretty boring when everyone does there own thing. Probably why i hardly play now

There's plenty of players around to form some 4 player teams and once each team have played a couple of games together, they would know what each other is doing/come up with tactics which make the game more enjoyable, rather than having someone running off on their own, frustrating the rest of the team :p

With The Passing coming out too, this could get some good, regular vs games going.

I wonder if we could get enough people together for a mini league :)

I think we'd be stretching it with even 3 teams since there seems to be so few regular players these days. For instance, when was the last time fear pierced your heart at the sight of Kearney picking up that damn hunting rifle.

You're barred from playing "The Passing" Steve as punishment for delaying it. Also, when it finally comes out for L4D1 you are only allowed to play the character of Bill :p

Firstly, I've only ever played Kearney once :| not even added him to my friends list.

Secondly, how many regulars we got?

Me
Tefal
Steve
Defrag
Antar (That be you ;))
Link
Evil
Midnight

Then the less than regs

Repta
Hippos
Pookie

And then there's people I've forgotten about/don't have on my friends, 3 teams seems easy, links always finding people to play with ;)

Disclaimer: If I missed you out, it's because I hate you.... or something like that ;)

Oh? Is my Hunting Rifle not good enough for you?! /ragequit
