Is anyone else having the image change randomly? :D

But apparently 1 of the survivors is dead (because the guy playing him didn't come back for the voice or so someone said) so either he isn't dead and they're just messing with people, which isn't entirely unlikely, or they're hinting and confusing people, which also isn't unlikely.

The 'Mutation' things sound interesting. I believe they had such games as 'Realism Versus' listed which would be pretty sweet not been able to see outlines.
 
realism verus isn't much different to normal versus though tbh. no outlines and witch is insta kill... other than that we still need to mod it to death to be hard :P

And we all know valve has a track record of messing with people
 
Mutations seem like a crappy gimmick to keep people playing. Chainsaw only = stupid, realism vs will just make bad teams worse and not affect good teams who communicate anyway.

Hopefully they come up with something better
 
I do agree some of them will probably just be a silly gimmick, but then if it works properly without causing any problems then its fair game if it helps keep people interested. Realism Versus does sound like a good idea but its true... bad teams will be a joke. I can't imagine public games of that would be any fun.
 
I think it sounds interesting enough, the majority of the ideas will probably fall flat but there might be one or two very good ideas in there. It's nice to see Valve giving some continuous support to L4D as well
 
I just hope they don't follow the gimmick of 'Chainsaws only' by substituting the word chainsaw for any other weapon. Would be interesting if they made a Tier 1s only mode though, but you can probably guarantee a Pistols/Melee only mode is in there somewhere.
 
So.... The update is going to have to be released by 19:00 hours (based on the fact that the Valve Devs are going to be playing at 11AM PDT) so anyone up for some Expert Realism on the passing tonight?

Probably around 9ish though before I'm home and up to date.
