It was done in the keynote. Amazing to be honest.I can't wait to see pictures of it taken apart, see what the insides are like.

I'd only watched the guy doing the guide so far.Yup - It showed how far we have come to miniaturise circuit board, chips etc but also how far behind we are with battery technology. It was done in the keynote. Amazing to be honest.

I think Intel making the CPU smaller just for Apple is interesting. I'd love to know what that contract is worth. I've got a tenner that says they're not allowed to sell the chips to anyone else for a few years too.

the "smaller" cpu is just a normal mobile core2duo with smaller/closer together/less pins i think.
Great - make me 100 pleasethe "smaller" cpu is just a normal mobile core2duo with smaller/closer together/less pins i think.

Apparently not so far behind. It's a marketting thing. Apparently normal AA batteries could have tens of times the capacity.Yup - It showed how far we have come to miniaturise circuit board, chips etc but also how far behind we are with battery technology.

If I was looking to get a laptop I'd get a MacBook Pro over the MacBook Air.
I can see why people would want one, but damn, for the same money you could get a better machine that's hardly massive.
Not knocking anyone who's bought one.. just saying, I couldn't.
Also... some unboxing pictures for those that care![]()
