We don't have one yet and I can't believe we don't! I am very excited about this game, the gameplay looks intense, the story looks epic, the revamped combat system looks like it plays great and the graphics are up there.

Released 29th Jan '10

Can't wait for it! Anyone else?

I'm having a problem on the liara: system hacking mission, I hacked two of the terminals but the third just isn't available for highlight, I've looked on the net and seen a few others have the same problem - I know all the terminals are supposed to be in the taxi area but I just can't interact with anything else there, anyone else have this problem? is there a way around it? does it matter if I don't do this mission?

How are you guys doing it with everyone surviving? Every time I've played through the game I never have enough paragon or renegade points to use either of them in the miranda/jack face off and as I always side with miranda jack has died 3 times now as the only member of my squad to die each time.

Id say try to be consistent with your character, either choose to play renegade or paragon, try to max either but not both. Going 50/50 wont max both by the end of the game for sure.

I think that particular dialog may need 75% on the gauge. Just avoid doing both Miranda and Jacks loyalty mission (that's what triggers the event) until you have plenty of points.

Ah, well I'll have to put up with jack dying then. I don't know if it makes me more of a role player or less of one but I like to go through the conversation options realistically rather than make a paragon or renegade character like I know most people do.

It is really simple. Always make sure you get their upgrades and never choose someone for a special task in the suicide mission that isn't loyal. The two people that you take for the last fight also have to be loyal.

You always side with Miranda and Jack always dies and you wonder why Jack always dies? :) Don't select Jack for any of the groups and she will make it, alternatively side with Jack and when you pick her she will make it. However if you pick Miranda then she will die...

I know their loyalty determines who survives, but the point is that because I never have enough paragon or renegade points to use those conversation options when miranda and jack fight, I am forced to lose one of their loyalty, and miranda is a far more useful character so I always side with her. Despite leaving jack to hold off with the rest of the team she still dies simply because she isn't loyal. I see no way around it other than making a near fully paragon/renegade character which I don't want to do.

When i click the downloadable content it just shows the alternate costume and none of the other stuff.

Load up your game and on the launcher where you click play/uninstall/configure etc, there will be button at the bottom about firewalker pack.

But I just want to say right now that after 10 minutes of doing the firewalker missions, they add absolutely nothing to the game. They turn it into some kind of poor mech platform game.

Atm I'm on a mission collecting artifacts in the ship whilst geth drop ships drop the odd unit, and all there is to beating these units is staying out of their range and firing at them for 30 seconds. It's totally uninspired and if, like me, you accidentally drive into the acid right at the end of the mission because you're space barring it through the whole level (giving your ship a boost) to get to the end faster because the gameplay is so poor, then you have to restart the entire tedious mission again. - All 5 missions are like this.

She probably died because you picked a poor fire squad leader. I picked Garrus as nobody had a beef with him and he was an ex-squad leader(ok they all died...). Everyone lived, even that **** Zaeed.

The best fire team leaders to pick are miranda and jacob, one of whom I always choose. It's purely down to the fact that I don't have jacks loyalty, because she is the only one who dies.

Just wondering, when people imported their ME1 chars into ME2 (I chose to start a new one), so that your choices carried over, did you still get to change your characters class/appearance?

Yes you do, but it will happen after the Normandy is attacked at the start of the game.

That's not too much of a spoiler.

lol don't worry I'm on my third playthrough. Was simply asking so I know whether or not I'll be able to change class when I port this char to ME3 :D

Just bought the Aegis/Firepower/Equalizer packs for my third playthrough. Where do you find them in-game? Are they at the shops or do they go straight into your armory?

Ah I see. I also wanted to get the 3 story DLCs but just couldn't justify the cost of them seeing as the game itself can be bought for about a fiver less.

A little dissapointing tbh. The other 3 DLCs were much better imo and there was really only a very obvious, loose tie-in with ME3, in Arrival. Was expecting a little more depth.
