** Official Mayhems Development Log **

Another rad maker not doing there job properly :/ use the mayhems blitz kit because not only does it strip away the crap out the system it also neutralises the acid and bring the PH balance back into alignment, vinegar flush doesn't do this :(.

Ordered 30 metres of the tubing (really cheap!), haven't used it yet but it's nice and pliable.

Let us know how you feel about the tubing, its going well out the door and there a lot of work gone into it :). The small bore tubing is a pain to get done to our standards and we've allready rejected 2 lots hopefully 3rd time lucky :).

The coolants are all WIP and are being tested, I will soon send some coloured samples out to testers to see what they think. This will be a premium priced product though....

You need to clean your rads. Adding more fluid wont fix it clean your rads propely and all will be fine. Seems like there is one crap rad maker in china pumping out lots of crap rads for sevral companies and this is the issue. When you cut costs somthing has to give....

If you turn the top ad around so the ports face the front and go from bottom rad, GPU, CPU top rad, res, pump -> Back to bottom rad, youll find you use less tubing and it will cool the same. Having a rad inbetween the gpu and cpu will make no difference in temps especially once your system reacheas equilibrium. Youll allso find its easier to bleed air out of the system and if any thing you may find a slight (abit only .05 to 1c) improvement due to better air removal.

When it comes to water cooling think of it as a long term investment. I still to this day use rads from over 18 years ago, i still used fitting from the same time period. You cannot do that with air cooling but you can with water cooling :). There are cheap rubbish parts and there are high quality parts that are not so cheap. If you skimp out it only has costs you more in the long run.

deFiniLoGy We cannot sell it with out google and gloves.

.:SAmSuNG:. You can clean and leave if you wish. The PH meter is just an extra for users its not impornat but shows if you cleaned your rads to a better level. Also you can accurately keep an eye on you coolant over time.

@AndoriAvalonia Sorry i think halfords water is crap (just mho though) better off going to a small local car dealer and getting there water (car plan is nice), halfords use a cheap ass manufacturer who run there filters past there limits and dont give two hoots about it neither when you approach them .... You can just flush your system with Blitz part 2 if you wish, no need for Mayhems Blitz part one on our Havoc rads weve already done that here in our workshop.

Nice build deFiniLoGy with the Orange and love you tube bending skills.

I'm after some advice, I want to have a coolant that is as close to translucent as possible but that can still show a decent amount of colour.

In an ideal situation I'd like a red version of the UV clear blue, but I've never been able to find anything close to this. What I was planning on doing was just buying some X1 coolant and a red dye and mix it myself till I find a happy medium.

Is there a particular dye that will help me acheive this?

X1 Clear or XT-1 Clear using none stain red dye.

Mayhems bespoke laboratory grade, hand blown and hardened glass tubing landed today. We are sending some out to Modders and people whom we believe will test it and give us feedback we need.

Were looking at mass producing it in 12mm and 16mm OD (fits most of the main manufacturers of fittings)

1/4 Meter Straight
1/2 Meter Straight
1/4 Meter 90 degree bend
1/4 Meter 45 degree bend

This is a premium product and will be priced accordingly. When cutting glass use protective glasses. Its best to cut with a diamond dremmel disk and use Wet and Dry to clean the ends. Do not breath in the glass dust.

I like the fans we have, i did like the Corsair sp120 how ever they are way to noisy imho. Im not a fan of slim lines i find them all to be pretty useless.

There will be no emails or posts from mick as he will be down at the insomnia 55 in coventry until monday (Bank Holiday) night. Have a Good weekend every one.
