Pastel sunset yellow -

007qky.jpg

We have had lots of requests for this and after lots of testing and re-testing we are proud to announce Mayhems Pastel Sunset Yellow.

It should be in OCUK with in the next 2 days. It was made yesterday, shipped down to our warehouse today, and rich got it added to his order today :). We expect it to sell pretty quickly.

Over the last few months we have been gathering pace and we have had to hold back a lot of the projects we would like to bring to you all as to much to soon would kill us.

With the help of people like rich and others we have expanded and grown at a nice steady pace and we are very grateful for there full support in us. All so the support of all our users make us very proud in what we do and make us strive to make better products and keep expanding our range.

Yeh the colours are just for show im making a gun metal grey and various other colours, trust me that is 3 of the 30+ colours ive done that are all under test. This is not to say they will ever be released though as i think we have enough all ready. How ever i may do tutorials on how to make them using our dyes.

We have a lot of work on in other areas that were looking into at the moment plus normal working day making the liquids.

E.g 1 of the beta cases i have in front of me right now needs loads more development work and all so some thing we forgot to add on.

Oky we will be releasing the New Mayhems Biocide Extreme on the 1st Feb 2011.

Testing is convulsive and well im pretty dammed proud of it.

This is the best biocide bar none to hit the retail market and is totally dye safe and will prolong the life of dyes as well as protect you system not only from growth of any sort but all so has a few other surprises up it sleeve to help stopping most kinds of build up from metals.

Once this is released we will only be guaranteeing out dyes with this and our own premixed fluids because they work .... and we tested it to its limits. :)

The pastel is on a totally different level from just biocide and water.

Personally i feel the pastel range is one of the top coolants out there at the moment.

if you would like a darker blue is best to get the pastel Blue then add more mayhems blue dye to it. this will give you the effect. I dont think ill be making it any darker as im happy with the way the whole range is atm.

i have a strong hate for nickel .. i really do not like it.

Why

1) Its wares down and ruins the look of the block
2) Nickel is NOT a permanent solution for water cooling
3) Its a way of manufacturers hiding cheap low grade copper
4) It has no other reason to be in a system except for looks
5) I hate the stuff !!!!!

A good copper GPU block should cost around £100+ when you use high grade copper. Why do you think GPU blocks are so cheap and its not because copper is cheap as the price of copper has nearly doubled over the last few years. Its because they use cheap low end copper and then nickel plate it to make it look better. BTW this is not pointing out any singular maker of blocks its happing every ware.

If we did make a block it would not be made for the normal user it would be designed around Aurora to make it work better. we would not be going or some world record heat removing behemoth. All so we are in no rush and its just at a idea stage at the moment. We have a lot going on and our funding is really tight at this moment in time.

I wouldn't like some thing in my own personal system that worries me. I think blocks should be made to last a long time easily when your forking out a lot of money. Liquids have a life span of a stated time period, blocks ppl expect them to last years (well i do any way).
.

Just to keep updated. The rads have been put on pause. Me and my partner had a meeting yesterday to discuss some problems weve been facing with other manufacturers of hardware and the threats we have been getting (including trying to copy our ideas as well) and have decided to put the rad project on the shelf for the moment. How ever this doesn't mean they have gone away. We are concentrating our efforts on the case first and may follow this up at a later date.

@Jay85 You are mixing a glycol, with a vegetable extract and different inhibitors .. :( if it messes up dont blame us we are not responsible when you mix chemicals that are not compatible.

To help you understand a little what is going on here. (the vids a bit rubbish but it gives you the base idea sorry its not made in a clean lab using some over the top photo equipment)

PH of ultra pure water and DI water is normally very high and this is not perfect for water cooling by any means and never has been unlike some trolls like you to beleve. Just adding a Silver coil into loop makes this worse and just adding a "Normal biocide" again does not combat the problem of having such a High PH level.

This video shows the new mayhems biocide extreme and what it does.

When we start you can see the level of the water is PH 9

We add 1 drop of Mayhems Biocide Extreme to 1 Ltr of water

Re calibrate the PH meter back to 7. (this has to be done before each test to get more accurate results)

Then re test the water as you can see in the video the water PH level drops down from 9 to 6.7. After 30 min it re stabilises back to PH 7. (not shown in vid as my batteries ran out)

Mayhems Biocide extreme is a Copper sulphate Biocide with some extras thrown in for good measure. This will aid in keeping you system in a perfect condition and help stop build up of any micro bio organisms. All so included in the biocide is a de scaler again this is perfect for use with some blocks that make show signs or ware and tear after only a short period of time.

Every few months its good to add another drop of the Mayhems Biocide Extreme to your system to keep it in tip top form. Because the PH level is automatic it will all so keep any dyes you may be running in perfect form. All so another fringe benefit of this is because it keeps the PH level steady plasticizer build up is reduced, Its not stopped but because your liquid is no longer eating away at the tubing it reduces its effects.

ANOTHER FIST FROM MAYHEMS >>>> wont belong before some one copies us.

Will be using that Biocide Extreme as a Shock treatment as soon as it's available.
The diy EK nickel cloud coolant is not a look I want to repeat - ever.

Not a fan of coloured coolants but are you saying the pastel range is better that pure + bio?

Pastel rage is much better than any in the UK / Euro market at the moment. The next step up is IDC which will be hitting the re-sellers shortly once we have enough stock of it and if they stock it :).
