Yeah Mayhems got back to me in March 2023 and confirmed XTR had been permanently discontinued which is a shame. They said there was a quality control issue with the supplier of the base components out of their control, it was causing a conglomeration issue with some of the product.
My white XTR is still going strong in my main build however.
Had a few conversations with them about this, they're doing quite abit of research and rebranding at the moment. Lots going in internally for Mayhems so until they streamline things and get it to where they are comfortable and happy, we won't hear much from them.
I dont think they would ever change the name especially with its long standing history. Packaging is certainly a lot better than what it was before, gives the brand a fresh new look.
Us oldies will always remember what it was before though.
It's great, but it's more geared towards extreme overclocking or sub zero cooling. Both are very environmentally friendly too so you can pretty much poor it down the drain.
i'm contemplating giving pastel colours another go... with my previous experience with EK separating.. how is Mahem Pastel colours? Teal definately looks nice and will go with an all out Black build i have... or do Mayhems not do Pastel anymore?
PS. i've not used Mayhems before so forgive me if they don't do pastels

Mayhems were the originator of pastels and were 150% reliable and legendary. So much so Mayhems was the OEM for EK's original opaque coolants, and every other company tried to imitate and fail. Mayhems ultimately pulled their pastels when they were continually messed about by suppliers of some core ingredients, causing all the problems you hear about with fallout and clogging.
If Mayhems are relaunching pastels then frankly they're the only ones I'd trust to do opaque coolants in 2024. Everybody else has failed, and Mayhems wouldn't try again if they couldn't replicate their success, even with the new owners and developers.
