***Official METRO Last Light Benchmark Thread***

Looks like I'm CPU limited on this. My trusty 4.2Ghz i7-920 is finally showing its age.

Edit: Same settings, but with Advanced PhysX.

looks fine to me Layte and only a very small bottleneck going on. Not something worth fussing over just yet :)

I don't think it is the CPU bottlenecking, I was running mine @5.1ghz with my Titans and everybody with a two card setup beats mine lol.

The good news is if I am that worried about it I can just turn off a couple of cards, problem solved until NVidia sort the drivers.:D

I think sli needs a bit of tuning from NVidia on this.

Very poor scaling, CPU and GPUs were overclocked.

I'm hoping this is why my performance isn't great from GTX 660 SLI.

Managed to get back to 60fps by settings to,

DX11
Resolution: 2560 x 1440
Quality: High
Tessellation: Very High
AF: x 16
Motion Blur: Normal
SSAA: Off
Physx: On

Still looks good and runs much better, hopefully future Nvidia driver updates will improve SLI performance..

I've noticed that the benchmark and game itself don't have that much in common tbh. Tesselation appears to be broken in the benchmark and the fps is crap, yet in game even with 2xSSAA enabled at 1920x1080p 144hz, I'm hovering around 120-144fps for about 90% of the time with excellent scaling on gpus.

In the benchmark though my 2nd gpu has high usage with the first having some really poor figures in comparison. This is with the latest NVidia beta drivers (320.14)

The lows in GPU use match up with CPU use spikes. I'm not that fussed as I was planning a Haswell build soon and I've had many years of use out of the trusty 920.

For some reason on my steam it hasn't downloaded the amd patch and I'm stuck will only 30 fps and major stuttering on my 7970 crossfire. I'm even getting 99% gpu usage.... Why haven't I got the patch???!?

I just bought the game and I start getting an extremely annoying stuttering after 2 minutes of game. There is a fix for that? Using 2 7950.

hi mate, can you run with the settings in the OP as I can't run Physx on the 7970 and just want to see the performance gap vs Titan. It should be around 30% like-for-like.
