You weren't in showcase view were you? I did this once thinking I was in normal outside view and wondered why I couldn't control anything

Yeh, it's a shame the vnav doesn't work in the a320 at the minute. I used to fly the flight factor a320 in x-plane and miss all the fully functioning systems. Give it a bit of time and MS should hopefully get up to scratch. At the mo I've just been requesting to lower my alt to something sensible from about half way in to the flight to make sure I'm at a sensible height / speed to drop down to catch the ILS

Yeah that's what I've started doing too, and that's sorted me out fine now

Premium deluxe is 84.99 usd I dont have acces to prices for uk but I suspect is the same, now the problem is Microsoft customer services contradict each other depending on country, in some they will say this bundle is a full game so when you cancel subscription you can continue playing and others say the opposit.

There are all sorts of issues still with autopilot. I noticed in the GA aircraft if you save a flight with the AP on, when you reload the game it is switched off. BTW you can set up keys for a normal pause but you need to show all commands in the keyboard options to access it, then define a key set for on and off.

The menus and UI render at whatever you have the native res set to. Render scaling changes the game viewport rendering to different resolution.

So if you have a 4k monitor, by setting the game to 4k and dropping the render scaling, you avoid the most jarring downside of running non-native resolution (all the straight edges that look awful if upscaled), but still get a pretty decent experience with the game visuals which upscale pretty well in FS.

I'm just offering some helpful advice to people running 4k monitors without silly-money GPUs. If you think I'm trying to brag you've got the wrong end of the stick buddy.
