**** Official Microsoft Flight Simulator Thread ****

My controller wasnt detected Vkb Gladiator so I had to map everything manually, I was getting weird movement like previous posters had, I had to make sure the axis wasnt saying -x +x as I think this makes it work like a button. Once I mapped it without the -+ it works fine.

I bought the London building pack, very much worth it imo, transforms Canary Wharf, and I can now see my flat which wasn't previously there.

Downloaded MSI afterburner, and can see my gpu is at 99%, getting around 30-40fps on high settings, so might look into upgrading in the future.

For anyone who was struggling with dropping their resolution down and the resulting blurriness - I found you had to set it in the game (from 1440p to 1080p in my case), exit the game, change resolution in Windows (from 1440p to 1080p), and restart the game. No more blurries (well a little bit because of non-native resolution, but not like before). Not sure what it's doing by default - something to do with the render scaling?

Anywho, with the settings below (tweaked High, with default traffic settings) I'm now getting solid 40+fps, dipping to 30fps at busy airports with my Vega 56 and Haswell 4C/8T.

Been playing this since yesterday. Still fine tuning in the Graphics department. However, do have an annoying problem. The ATC, most times it skips and doesn't read back. Has anyone else experienced this?

Is this game capped at 60fps? playing on my Samsung Q70R 55" tv wich has freesync and 120hz but in options its only 60.

River Crouch (Essex)

Flight down the River Crouch - flying across RSPB Wallasea Island, Burnham on Crouch, Althorne, Bridgemarsh Island and Essex Wildlife Blue House Farm towards North Fambridge

very impressed with FS2020

This is strange. Im currently downlading the game so its open and at 80% so i thought id have a game of no mans sky whilst waiting. Now everytime i press the A button on my xbox one controller it opens up the MS flight sim forums page on firefox. I mean eh? it does it in game or out of game.

I was flying around last night in the ORBX enhanced London city map it's certainly worth getting for £6 can't wait for them to do more like this.

I could not get it to download via the storefront so just bought it directly through the ORBX central app.

I saw someone stream it this morning, and it was an instant buy for me.

I showed the game to my gf yesterday, showing her where we live in Greenwich, and our building didn't look that great and she commented on how stock Canary Wharf looked, so this update really shows the difference, it's very accurate.

What monitoring software are you using? On the right of your screenshot?
