Jesus christ, that video kinda brings home the nature of Darryn's crash :eek: I can only imagine how you lot must have reacted when seeing it!


MM8 looked good fun though!! Nice pics everyone. I LOVE the way the front end of that S14a looks :)

Forgot to post this last night, not a great end to an otherwise very good day!

Got a flat on the way through a set of roadworks on the way home, but it's sidewall damage, so I couldn't continue on the run flats. What a load of pollava for a flat tyre!!!! Bring back the spares I say.

I've still got it, it was recovered to my house, ATS are coming out to fit two front tyres for me this afternoon, they are replacing both as the bridgestones are out of stock and they dont mismatch, so getting 2 pirrellis instead.

Looks like a good meet, proper gutted I had to miss this one :( I'll hopefulyl be at the RR and should be at the next NYMM though :)
 
Naf ive decided if you go to the RR we should take your eco diesel and I don't mind sharing the driving and I'll also pay towards fuel :p

Infact it's a 4 hour trip so you could do uni work in the car :p
 
Looks like you lot had some fun, that role of Darryn's from MM8 was mental, looking at the still pictures last year after it happened I would never of imagined he was going quite that fast and flew quite that high in the air ....apparently Honda make those Civic's rather stronger than many would think. I am suprised Darryn didn't have some sort of injury too.

The camera is suprisingly deceptive.

Knowing how fast I went past on the video and then adding a bit to that speed im not suprised he crashed in the wet with yokohamas fitted on the rear!

he did, he had a cut on his head from where his camera that was on the backseat hit him in the head, all 2.5kg of it :D remarkably small amount of injuries.
