And just for you AGW

He is so small, especially when you realise the GT4 is tiny in height. :p

Stupid seats with no height adjustment. I mean, come on, even my car has height adjustment!

On another note, that Celica is exactly grin factor 12.

haha, no way, I didn't wimp out :D

It wasn't really noticeable when working through the gears, more-so when in gear and you planted your foot...felt like it took forever to spool. You have to remember though, I am coming from a tiny little T25 which spools almost instantly.

True, it can seem like it take a while to spool if you catch it off. However if you are pressing on to 6500+ then it drops back straight into boost, you have to think ahead a little to keep it in the right gear/revs to make maximum progress. It will be interesting to see the dyno printout to see the torque curve as it seems a lot smoother to me than before.

Main thing is that you enjoyed it.

Yeah, I know you said it revs to 7k or something but I'm used to changing at about 6.5k so didn't want to take it any further in case I broke something :p

Oh yeah, I enjoyed it alright. Very sure footed!

How did the EVO X compare to the GT4? Apart from looks capabilities must be similar.:)

I was hoping he would have gathered that from my signature ;)

"Hai guys, I has Evo but luvs my Rovas evan moar"

:D

I did get a passenger ride in the Evo though! Even 4 up, it felt good. Lots of torks. Ride was a bit harsh over those roads but the driver was saying you just need to keep your foot in it and let the car work its magic. I can't remember who commented on it, but there was very little lag too... nothing like that bloody Celica :p

Haha, it's an 03 SE, so it's actually got softer suspension than a lot of Z4s! It is running large M wheels and less than forgiving tyres, though. Not sure if it's even been dropped, though someone has commented that it looks like it has.

And the sound may be partly to do with the top being down, but also partly to do with the fact I've removed the foam sound deadening from the sound generator behind the glovebox :D

I love the nervous laughter from MrLOL and the way he cacks himself when we hit the bump :D

The seatbelt is there, Pete, it's just gone slack in the last couple of weeks! Don't have too many people in with me, most of the time, so I didn't know. It's getting looked at asap.

It's roads like that which make me glad I've not fitted coilovers/low profile tyres/anything that smacks of handling but requires billiard table smooth tarmac. I had no trouble hooning on any of the surfaces we drove on, but then I did have the least powerful car there, I think?

Oh, and the crack which formed on my windscreen was from a mahoosive stone chip on the M62.
