I didnt see any dedicated thread for this device, so I thought I would start one :)

Mine is en-route and should be arriving in the morning, but I am unfortunatley not back in the country till tuesday PM.

Happily, I was lucky enough to have had my hands on the device even before the launch, and really enjoyed the way it worked.

Ordered it sim free in black. Will get some pics up when i can get it.

Anyone else trying the edge?
 
I admire your bravery in getting this handset to be honest. You grabbing the official case? I get the impression a decent case would be required to make the most of the edge so to speak.

Yup, will order the official case when I can, I have some colleagues heading over to HQ in the next couple of weeks, they can grab me one from the Shop in on site for a decent price. Failing that, I will get it through someone in the UK team :)
 
Got an upgrade in March and I'm torn between the Edge, or waiting to see what the Galaxy S6 will be like.

Only owned a Samsung tablet, but I love it, so willing to jump ship from my HTC one.
 
Hhmmm, I have an Edge on pre-order with Clove. They were suggesting £650, but looks like it is now heading out at £750 elsewhere.....guess Clove will be upping their price :eek:
 
I was looking to upgrade to a note 4 this month but have just noticed the note edge. Only seems available SIM free or on a Vodafone contract. Anybody have any idea if/when this will be available on EE?

There seems to be very little info out there at the minute?!

I looked on samsung website its £700 :eek: still is a big price tag. I don't think i could deal with the edge bit of the display, so 99% sure i'll be getting a note 4 instead.
 
Seems I was a little premature with my delivery estimates!
I am sure the said on the phone it would be delivered on the Monday this week, but I think from what I have heard, the 12th is the most likely delivery date for these early orders.
Not too long to wait :)
 
Its a high end device, which is proving much harder to manufacture. I have heard rumours internally that it can take over twice as long to physically produce the parts and stick it all together. So the price is not really surprising. If anything it is cheaper than expected.

My feeling is that this is really a testbed for an "edge" mainstream product in 4-5 months time.
