I've just ordered a 570.
Only becacause my last card died so it seemed the best deal at present.
Getting a card in a brown box and no bull suits me. I hate the idea of paying for child like shiny coolers and stickers in a big wate of resources box with a toss game thrown in and an overclock I can do myself.
I only hope this card can do as well as it's predecessor, an 8800GTX.

Looking forward to ramping up the settings in New Vegas and some of the other games I've got in the last Steam sale.:cool:
 
I seriously hope none of the tedious bores droning on about price/performance yet again in a Nvidia based thread use nothing higher than a 6870/560.

Yep, the £165 price is now very reasonable. You can get 480 SLI for just a little more than a single 580.

470 prices have also dropped £15, so methinks a little pre-order price gauging was taking place....

they are not toasty at all well mine is not , it does not get as hot as the 6970 i have ;)
