Why do I always do this?

I make a move in the analysis board, play it through and realise that I'm about to get royally bummed, decide on another move, have a brain fart and do the original move.

Got one back I think. When he decides to resign. I like how I locked down his queen earlier in the game.

I'm trying - I've got 4 games left. I think two of them have the 'return' game to play and then I'm not playing chess ever again. Or maybe I'll just restrict myself to playing with people I know which was my idea from the beginning.

Yeah that's irritating.. but just put the moves in as conditional and forget about the game what I normally do!

What's odd is I've taken a couple of weeks just being slow to respond (few hours before the 3 day turn, etc.) and it's like I've forgotton everything I've been learning of late.

I'm forgetting certain openings/defences, etc. Bit of a pain.
