I don't protest to know Boomstick at all and I have pretty much been an AMD/ATI man all my many years of being into PC's and only just the last couple of days switched to the 980Ti with that damned fine offer of £500 for the Zotac from here and still have my 290X. It just seems a little silly to keep cherry picking benchmarks and then accuse people of trolling. Heck, it doesn't matter at all and I am sure everyone enjoys what they use regardless of brand loyalty, which seems to be you are either in the green or red camp here and nothing inbetween.

Well he does have the Titan-X in his signature at the bottom of every single post. Also this means when he benchmarks the FuryX, expect the truth as there will be others that own Titan-X that will also be benchmarking (probably up to four) FuryXs. All Boomstick is doing is being optimistic while I see yourself and many others being very pessimistic towards this new card. That I suspect is what Boomstick meant by using the term "trolling".

There are some who are team green or team red but that doesn't mean anything as there are more people who use both from my experience. It's just that you'll see more of the fanboi's use justification techniques for their purchases . I enjoy the debates until it gets personal and I suspect many are like me when reading through the threads/posts.

Twas a good job AMD handpicked only their most favourite reviewers too. Imagine the reaction if they had let those nasty anti amd reviewers get the cards? !?

Linus got a card. his complaints were about the 3 series not the fury. Excluding 1 website that acted unprofessionally and attempted to slander your company is hardly "picking favourite reviewers"

Think this was the last hoorah from AMD. bulldozer was the same hype. I think people have COMPLELTY LOST FAITH IN AMD. The fury X is DOA.

ive ordered my msi fury x because i wanted cool and quiet and a little bit cheaper than the 980ti hybrid, yes i game at 120hz 1920x1080 and i will loose a little bit of fps compared to the 980ti but i dont really care about such little fps.

I check the fury and it owns the Nvidia stuff for what I use my computer for.
I am super happy with the first fury x now I await 3 long weeks to the 14 of July not sure if I can stay happy until then?

Yeah when I said trolling, I mean all the stuff aimed at AMD. It will be easy for people to miss the fact that the Fury X is actually beating the Titan X in a few things. It's cringe-worthy some of the posts because they don't acknowledge this at all. It's literally like their eyes will not acknowledge this.

People calling it faildozer etc. But we have here a GPU that trade blows, loses some and wins in others against Nvidia's GM200, but that will be forgot because of the overwhelming amount of anti AMD rhetoric being posted. Which is a shame, think they should get some credit for what they have done.

It is what it is, have to hand it to Nvidia they have perfect marketing. Even if AMD had beating the Titan X across the board. I still think it wouldn't be enough. I.e if it was much faster but more expensive than that would be a problem, people would say just get the Ti. There will always be something. I don't know how AMD get out of this situation.

Maybe they will have more luck with the Fury (Non X) and Nano launches. Hopefully.. I want AMD to stick around. No working driver from Nvidia in months, Gameworks ruining big games. We need competition for Nvidia because otherwise PC gaming could get a lot more expensive / worse.

Colours don't talk, numbers do. Red, Green, Pink, whatevs. Apart from the devout fanboys, I suspect that most folks will buy whatever represents the most bang for their buck. If AMD manage to bump the performance of this card with drivers, it will sell better. If not, many will turn to the green team. It's hardly rocket science. Quite why there's so much nonsense surrounding this very simple train of thought is beyond me.

That said, I did say on the 23rd of March this year that this would be Bulldozer all over again and sadly my hunch turned out to be roughly correct. I really wish it wasn't.

I'll always have a soft spot for AMD but I fear that unless they act quickly and bump this card's performance, it may just be another nail in the coffin.
