Just a misunderstanding then, You never mentioned picking results from individual games you said you went from the 4k results to the 1440p results which implied using the same set just the 1440p version of them and if you do that you get these results which as I said do not have a single Fury x win unfortunately,

Ahh got you, sorry about that, should have mentioned, i was just going through the list of games 1 by 1 underneath the graph and doing the changes from Standard to with the AA/AF :p

Even so, even by that one you linked, its not doing as bad as some of the reviews have shown, its slightly behind or on par. :)

^ Look at the other cards. Every card improved.

Clearly different settings for the different reviews

Too many straws to grasp with this launch. Cherry picking galore.

He speaks the truth. I got caught in the Fury X VS 980 Ti ha didn't notice the others :D

Really liking the Fury X no straws needed. Need some new fans though as the card is so quiet my other fans seem loud :p

That is very interesting actually^

It just shows again that the Fury X only really gets to flaunt it's party piece at 4k with lots of AA, but by then framerates are getting to unplayable levels anyway.

Seems like crossfire FuryX might be a good solution for 4k but that is £1000+ of graphics hardware and I would be wary of it having only 4gb at that price and at 4k with lots of AA.

It is hilarious that AMD claim it is not re-brand and then go on to prove it is a re-brand.

Same silicon on a better performing more mature process process that allowed them to increase clock speeds. They sources better quality memory to bump memory clocks, and they improved their bios software to handle power better. that is not anew card, and is exactly why 390 drivers work on 290 cards.

Anyone else able to test valley benchmark on extreme hd, AMD still seem to struggle like crazy on that.

Stock I get about 73 fps, overclocked I get 75fps.

Its a weird one to be sure, its either driver related or the card is bottlenecking elsewhere (triangle fill rate or, both).

It is a new card, it's a different model.

Just like a BMW 3 series with a 2L engine is different than a BMW 3 series with a 3L engine. They are still the same cars with a few differences.

Nah, I'm thinking the main differences (Tesselation) are at the driver level and they don't want to share with the 290/x owners ;)

You got that completely wrong.

If you want to make a car analogy is is like BMW make a 3 series with a 2L engine, The next year they make the same car with the same engine but when making the engine they resolved a couple of manufacturing issues. They tune the powertrain computer more aggressively and put a 2015 model year in the sticker. Same car, same engine.

Give me world where you get 100% scaling on all four cards and id probably buy 4 :D at the moment crossfire is such a pain in the ass for games even getting one more would feel like personal torture lol.
