What.. I've lost my spawn plot? I worked 5 x12 hour shifts wed-sun and today is my first day off. I didn't even get my plot (from AlexB) until Tuesday..

Any chance of some sort of leniency on this?
 
Only just got back on to see my plot has gone as well... just didn't have any decent mats to build anything other than a stone/marble/wood hut.

Happy for mine to be recycled as i really don't have a clue what to build and what to build it with yet. Wish it was easy to move all mats/kit from previous world. Will have to wait and see what happens.

Anyhoo, good luck to any folk getting another chance for a spawn plot.

Yeah me either, starting with nothing really slows you down.
If I had known it would be taken with no warning I would have built a hut too:

I wonder, would there be any interest in setting up a separate vanilla server? I have nothing against the server or anybody involved, i just don't think these mods lend themselves to how i want to play the game. Don't assume there's any meaning to this post, i'm just gauging interest...
 
I can understand people being frustrated about the spawn plots but it was clearly stated in the post about it that if there was no progress on them within a week they would be passed on to someone else. That's all I will say on the subject as I haven't been involved in evaluating which plots have building work going on/etc.

I also don't have a similar interest in 90% of the mods but some of them are nice touches like marble :D

So I'm just playing in my own fashion without all of the machinery gubbings. It depends on how much it bothers you seeing other players with the new items though.

It's cool, I just completely forgot and was a bit sad as a consequence!
 
For the benefit of Stiv, I just worked out that for one HV Solar Array (512eu/t during the day) you need:

6144 rubber
3071 copper bars
5120 refined iron
4096 cobble stone
2048 redstone
1536 glass
1536 coal dust

Edit: forgot to add in the cost of transformers etc, that's just the cost of 512 solar panels. :p

Added how many stacks that is, i'd think almost everyone could do the cobble stone and below with ease....copper is well easy to find.....I'd say the only difficult bits then are refined iron (best go destroy Dosans iron block tower in old world :p) and 96 stacks of rubber would be the biggest nightmare to get hold of, though mainly due to how time consuming that'd be.
