Can some please give me a quick tutorial on how to install buildcraft on a bukkit server? I have installed the client side but I cannot work out how to install it on the bukkit side? The internet has so far been very unhelpful :(

I took the extremely easy route of using Tekkit. This does most of the work for you and you simply need to disable a few mods that you don't want/add a few more:

So I've finally got myself white listed :D !
So far I've managed to end up in the nether and die a few times but thanks to DanM i got back out ;)
Now just gotta work out where to start my home and let the fun begin !
 
I think the discharging bug is still happening, where if you have chargeable stuff (ie armour) in your inventory, and log out, come back on sometimes and they appear charged, but have discharged. This happens to me quite often, ending up with me dying somewhere in the nether with my uncharged nanosuit armour on :(

Yea that's happened to me quite a few times with my lappack, go to start digging and think "whats going on here, it has charge" check again after breaking a block or two and it's empty.
 
Have you heard anything about this happening on other Tekkit servers? I'm wondering if it's something to do with the multiworld inventory mod that is running. I haven't disabled it (despite disabling multiworld) as I wasn't sure if doing so would wipe people's inventories.
 
I get the same too, happens on any of the backpacks too, as well as tools like the dim drill and laser. I seem to spend a lot of time recharging stuff, especially when my client keeps crashing lol
 
The fact it isn't showing up with ye olde google search does suggest it's something specific to our server so I'll try disabling the mod in question to see if that helps.
 
Okay...that's done and should take effect next restart.

If everyone suddenly loses their inventories, post an update in the linktart MC group and I'll re-enable the plugin and restart.
