the issue you may be having if useing BC pipes is some chunks are loaded and the pipes will leek. if you use pnumatic pipes this wont happen.

It's not my build, it's the one with all the quarries that you looked at last time that was leaking cobble all over the place.

It's possible that one half of the build is on a chunk that loads when me/Scotteh are moving about at our place and the other half doesn't load, that would explain it, when I looked the other day there was a lot of stuff floating about halfway down a pipe above it.
I'm starting to think maybe BC pipes transport should be banned. They seem to be the root of all these problems. They can be used well but there's other equally good options that don't have the hassle. Transport pipes can be replaced with pneumatic, conductive pipes aren't needed since you can stick engines next to whatever you want and most people are using IC power now and I'm not sure about waterproof pipes, but they're only really needed in automated systems and it seems to be those that are causing the problems.
