*** Official OcUK Minecraft Server - Discussion and Rules ***

I need some help with this....
I'm trying to help my little brother to get on to the server. His initial problem was that the technic launcher threw an error saying "can't find java directory". I solved it for him by copying my .techniclauncher folder to his pc, and started the launcher via the technic-launcher.jar.
Now he can log in, but he can't see anything. I don't know if it's because his laptop sucks or if we broke something. He can play "normal" minecraft just fine with no errors.
This is what he sees. We tried waiting for the chunks to load but after about 5 minutes we gave up. Any ideas?

Tried moving the view distance up? I find that problem sometimes after a fresh install. Sure you should be able to see a little on tiny distance, but it doesn't draw until you move the slider. Can move it back to tiny and it should draw.

Could try tping somewhere as well.

There's an additional mod pack you need to install - check the initial instructions on linktart. Had exactly the same thing happen to me originally.
 
Has something been done to the server in the last few days that would break cobble generators? (i.e. lava mixing with water). the flows just sit there for the last couple of days doing nothing :/

Nope, no changes to config at all that I'm aware of. I presume nothing has been done in-game either but best to wait for the others to confirm that.

Could be something to do with the issues we've been having. We're currently testing better anti-lag configs/plugins on the test server.

Pulsian's cobble gens have been working fine, re-filled multiple chests in no time at all.
 
Think I've found a fix for the enderstorage issue. Just testing it further with Yrth.

It requires client-side config changes though. Will update shortly.
