Mod creators are working together a billion times better than they used to thanks to the FTB launcher (not sure if the server uses a FTB setup (dont think it does) but even so because of FTB it will have an effect on the way mods work together increasing compatibility and stability.

I was using King_lemmings setup.

I have resorted back to ic2's tin and copper and had a good mine in the digger world trust me there is plenty for all.

Nutty - do you use mumble at all as i would like to have a quick chat with you :)

ah so you deleted the folder? or files.

get a program called get data back
in trial it will scan and see if it can fine the saves.
if it can then you need to obtain a full copy and use that to recover the files.
 
has the server crashed? i joined for about 10 seconds, had a creeper expand in front of me the instant i logged in but it didnt blow up (it just stayed expanded), I went to check on my turtle which had turned invisible, then got booted out for a timeout exception or something similar. now i cant log back on

Mod + Server is being updated to 1.4.7 - so there is a new client available I had to remove the link on the LT forum so all that have posted in the thread and been added to the whitelist so far you will get a PM on linktart shortly with the link for the new modpack - please keep the link safe.

I reckon so.
Tried again at various levels all evening, not a single block, I'm assuming if I did ever found copper then it would take several months to build anything. My attention span is not that long :)

SP kindly sorted me out with a crystal gate thing that takes me to a forest, so I'm guessing that is mining world. Here I can find copper at level 40 ish and tin at level 25 ish, I hope that is about right.
Not sure of the protocol here, I don't want to run into someone's quarry so I'll put some signs up or something. Problem is I get bogged down with carrying all that annoying neon gem stuff and have to keep dumping it into chests, I hope it is going to be useful one day because I seem to have an awful lot of it :o

Just about to go home with my loot and the server was upgraded :eek: now I'm struggling again with that Dropbox thing as the site seems really iffy and refuses to download. It did this last time, maybe it doesn't like large files ?

Anyway, I think I'm making progress :)
 
sorry about that fran it seems like dropbox has had a hissy fit tonight - some of the mod updates were essential we now have more control + the update to 1.4.7 this will all calm down soon but rest assured the world is back up safe and sound and all the builds are intact. Dropbox is still synching my end and has beed for a long time (too long i think there may be something wrong there end)

In light of this and speaking with yrth we are going to come up with a better distribution system that makes it easy for you guys to update. (Hopefully not for a while yet)

If this has not synched properly by tomorrow i will get it sorted out as soon as possible for you guys.

make yourself a miners backpack. its 15 slots (or 45 if you get some bee products and do some upgrading) and it will automatically pick up most ores and gems and whatnot. shift + right click will dump its entire contents into a chest.

5punky, the client I downloaded last night isn't working. Comes up with this error when connecting to the server:

Forge Mod Loader has found world ID mismatches ID 5469 (ModID: LiquidRoundup, type denoflionsx.LiquidRoundup.Items.LiquidBase) is missing You cannot connect to this server

So I am trying to redownload from dropbox but it says the folder is empty? :(

DP was being a pain last night
try this morning if that fails i will make a alt location for you to grab from
 
OK sorry for such a long delay in getting back today
work has been mental busy
i have re uploaded the client to the DP
give that a go and let me know how you get on
 
lol i knew that was going to get asked so you want a copy of a map that will not load?

IF i get some time in the next week or so i will look at making the map public
right now to be honest i have more important issues to work on at the moment.
I will let you know when i get a chance and will post a link for it
 
the server seems to be up, but when i join i cant place or break blocks, or access most machines or chests. pressure plates and mystcraft books work and i was able to break a torch though.

is that because you arent done with the upgrade yet or is there a problem?
