So, is there likely to be a map wipe any time soon? I do enjoy the early game with the survival and mining aspects at the forefront.

A map wipe would be nice, but I don't know how long ago it was done. I haven't played for about a year and was going to play again but haven't been able to find anywhere to build.

Well it appears it got done much quicker :D
old world is gone this is a 100% new start

Server ip = linktart.co.uk:15565
FTB pack = Unleashed v1.1.3 for MC 1.5.2


Before launching the mod pack you need to Edit it
this option is just above the mod pack
enable all mods some are marked as disabled and are required

Once you have done this you are ready to play :D

Oh and i plan on uploading some event maps soon but not tonight
 
World borders appear to be at +/-1800 again, can't find my usual spot as everything North and West is just water. Careful going too far as it zaps your health at the edge of the map.

This world seems pretty flat everywhere so far.
 
the world did not look very flat to me when i explored

yes the border is 2K in each direction i will increase it when it is really required.

Fran the wipe was a long time coming i said i was going to do it last week but got delayed because of RL stuff.

The old server will not be brought back but IF i get time i may compress it and upload it for players to get a copy of it.

This new Server will be easer to manage as i is FTB and they have already planned it to be upgradable going forward meaning less map wipes but geting newer mods when the are release as part of the pack.

oh yes the border is hostile :D and will stay that way you get 3 warnings before getting zaped though

i have made a new forum section on LT for white listing for mod server
if you have made a request in the van section then just link to it in a new topic in the mod+ section and i will follow it up
or if you have already been white list on the van server post a new topic with the link and i will add you to the mod+

So whats the state on chunk loaders?

and are you planning on setting up a mining age? don't really want to be producing huge holes in the overworld :D
 
I will be making a mining age yes
and chunkloaders wont be allowed just yet
have to tweek them again quarries are not to be bigger than a 3 x 3 chunk area
that is 48 x 48 blocks
