It's a well known bug that if your bed is against an outside wall they can spawn inside your room. Try moving the bed to the centre of the room.

tried that, beds not against the wall either
created a new room with a new door (attached to main building) and it doesn't spawn.
moved bed back, does.
also if you fall into 1m of water it doesn't save you, but not sure if that's new with this or prev patch.

big bug is if you shift click to add something to a full chest it crashes the client.
 
Still no bukkit available yet but it looks like there should be a version out by the time I'm up and about tomorrow. I may ask for help testing during the day :)

What's the deal with moving to 1.8? Are you keeping the world or scrapping it?

Haven't been on for a while, so not sure what the deal is :p
 
However, there will eventually be a full wipe - probably when retail hits.

We also *may* wipe the 1.8 world for 1.9 if there are significant changes to the land generation.

Also.....

I will probably make it so items aren't shared across worlds for the first day or so. This is just to enable us to get a bit of that "new world feeling" for a couple of hours before everyone goes crazy. After that I'll turn item sharing back on as normal.
 
Looks like Bukkit is still in progress. The main bug seems to be double doors messing up at the moment though. If it turns out that things work okay aside from that I'll probably update anyhow (on a test server first).
 
So will this mean the return of the multi-world mod? with different material portals to move between them?

Nope - the Pinapp mod isn't coming back. I'll put multiverse on there if we absolutely have to but I think Bukkit may support multiworld without using that (multiverse just facilitating a way to generate new worlds in game and provide transport between them). We can use the voxelport system to allow moving between worlds so we'll just create a new VP zone at spawn to sort it.

work has put in new blocking routes on me so
i find about 80% of sites are also blocked.

Just as well i am looking for a new job or i would go crazy in here

looks like bukkit team will have to start over again this is just the start too.
I bet we will see all the way up to 1.8.4 or something

ah i know it should not be much but having to go through the changes and see if they
mess with the ones that bukkit add in or did to fix an issue.

The two small changes I'm making to armor is 1) slightly better durability and 2) simpler armor value calculation (not based on durability)

Good news for armour fans! i.e. me!
